Plastic casing melted! Toasts unevenly – We have had this toaster for a few years and noticed within the first year that the plastic casing has melted in several places on the top, from heat rising off the elements. It still works OK, but we will be replacing it soon as it doesn't toast evenly and the timer doesn't always seem accurate (the same setting sometimes toasts lighter or darker than expected).

Disappointing - Slow toasting – I purchased this toaster based on its 1400 watt power, thinking it would toast at a relatively fast rate. However, it takes an age to toast bread slices or muffins, and I get very frustrated waiting.for the toast to pop up. The design and functionality is good, but the slow performance detracts from this.

Toasts ok but only lasted a few years – Does toast ok but not amazing but then again its at the lower end of prices. Am disappointed that it only lasted a few years so am going for something a bit more expensive now that we need to toss this because the catch when you push the lever down to toast doesn't work anymore Price Only lasted a few years

Works OK – I have used my Breville BT320 for about two years now and it only gave trouble yesterday after a mouse climbed inside and shorted it out. After i pulled it apart and got the mouse out, it now works again. It did not toast my bread very evenly from new, but it works ok. The Cambrook toaster that i bought as a replacement, cooks a lot more evenly. Reliable and inexpensive Did not cook toast evenly

Cheap with a long lifespan! – I had this toaster (4slices) for.. over or just under 10 years. I love toasts with honey & avocado and eat the toasts sometimes twice a day. I actually couldn't understand when people say toasters do not last long because this very cheap one has lasted this long. The only reason I want to buy a new toaster is because I want a toaster in Red.… Read more

But every time I decided to throw this away.. I felt guilty because it's still working perfectly. I really really hope this dies soon so that I can buy a new one! Cheap but working well and doesn't look cheap at all.

OK – I bought a four slice model so that I could put the rather large slices of bread that came out of my bread machine before I went to making bread without a machine. I have had this toaster for several years and I am wishing it would fail so I could justify replacing it with a better one. Well priced and looks good, easy to clean and the bread crumb… Read more

tray makes removing the crumbs a breeze. Toasting from frozen is great. Wide slots cater for people like me that slice their home made bread. This toaster is uneven in toasting as it cooks the side nearest the centre far quicker than the outside, I have to turn the toast halfway through cooking to get even colour on both sides. I cannot get a satisfactory result on cooking crumpets.

Toasts evenly – We've had this two slice toaster for eighteen months now and it still works well. It's hard to find a decent toaster nowadays and this has been reliable and, most importantly, toasts evenly. The toast-from-frozen button works well and reliably factors in the extral toasting needed for frozen bread. Reheat button doesn't quite hold toast in long enough to be effective. Even browning and button for frozen bread Reheat function not very effective

Excellent – I've owned this model for the last 4 years and it's still going strong. I absolutely love the thawing button. You can put frozen bread straight in, press the thaw button and it thaws and toasts to perfection. Theres also a reheat function, for when you forget about your toast and it goes cold, it reheats it without having to retoas again. It has… Read more

enormous toasting slots for the thickest slices of bread. I've even fit crumpets in there with ease. The crumb tray slides out really easily. I'd recommend this toaster for a large family. There are no negatives. Thawing button, reheat function, huge toasting slots, easy to clean crumb tray

Excellent – I have the four-slice version of this toaster and it rocks! The controls mean I can get my toast exactly how I want it (the browning control goes to 6 but you really don't need anything much over 3), reheat it if I get distracted during breakfast and toast my bread perfectly from frozen (which is a great time saver because I store my bread in the… Read more

freeezer). Obviously the first few times you put anything different in you need to watch it to adjust the controls for the next time but after that everything's a breeze. The wide slots and extra-lift lever mean that you can toast absolutely any bread product of any shape and getting it in and out is no hassle. My personal preference would have been for it to look a little more stylish but other than that it's a perfect appliance. I've had mine for at least 5 years and it's still going strong. Breville were really thinking when they designed this one. A variety of controls to select exactly what you need to do including toasting frozen items, reheating already toasted items, automatic pop-up with manual option and browning control dial. Also has removable crumb tray which is easy to clean. Extra wide slots and extra-lift lever. The whole "white appliance" look - whish is just personal taste really.

Good – we have had this toaster for over 10 years now toasts bread good crumpets need to be done nearly twice to my liking most in the houshold like it once. I would buy one again white case, ease of use, excess cable wrap. soft plastic case is soft and marks easily.

Good – Theis is a nice toaster. I have the 4 slice version. It cooks toast well and will coo thicker items such as crumpets and muffins too. The white colour does discolour though to an off-white yellow colour. The crumb tray does not seem to contain crumbs well if you move the toaster if you pack it away between uses like I do. It has been very… Read more

OK – Not a bad toaster as far as toasters go, it has lasted longer than I expected & by now I was hoping to buy a chrome one to match my other appliances, but that hasn't happened yet. But as far as consistent toast goes, its still not too bad. Occassionally it can get a bit lighter on one side of the bread but as I said I have had it quite a while. I… Read more

like the removal crumb tray, great idea. We have had this toaster for quite some years so it can't be too bad. It gets dirty easily.
