Great The Best – Ok, my partner is Thai and loves cooking, recently I brought her this wok from the first time she used it she couldn't stop praising it about how the heat is all over and how hot it can get and how easy to clean. She uses it at least 4 times a week, she really can't speak more highly about this wok. My advise, this is the best you won't be disappointed.

Better than steel – I was a bit skeptical after some poor reviews of electric woks. However, having used it a few times I shall never go back to the steel wok. My stove top or BBQ wok burner cannot get the heat in like the electric. As per instruction I leave it on high for ten minutes to heat up then go for it. It really keeps the heat up to the food. Very quick to cook. Used my old steel last night and it really just stewed the food. Couldn't get the heat in.

Also loved the non stick. Brilliant. Hot. Non stick. Easy to clean. Price.

A good asset – Never heard good reports for electric wok So i took a chance on the Breville BEW 600 and found it did everything there product information stated A well finished product It heated up really fast and held its heat for the duration of the cooking time A plastic half round spatula the same radius of the bowl would be helpful to remove contents quickly as the bowl can only be separated after cooling but you soon overcome this problem.14 settings make it very versatile for slow and medium cooking 2400 watt heating element for good stir fries and good heat distribution Bowl cannot be removed until cool and a spatula made for the bowl would have been useful

Two in one pot and wok – Bought this for Chinese hot pot purpose. Never thought the electric wok would work well. Stir Frying has to have high heat, so the vegetables would be crispy and bright green. I had a party that I ran out room on my stove. It was a life saver. Not only didn’t it use much oil but it heat up very quick. So my stir fries looks and tastes fantastic. So now I have this wok on the bench to cook every day. I find it better to control with the gas. Maybe because my gas stove is old.

The trick for me is to turn it high heat to start with little or no oil, when the light is off place garlic/ginger for favour, then meat with pepper and salt and or soy sauce. Stir few times, put in vegetables, spread little water and stir few more times then turn the heat off once it's almost done. There you are perfect stir fry!

I also deep fried and use it as a soup pot as well. The surface is non-stick, so it's very easy to clean. However, I only recommend using plastic/wooden utensils. It wears out well, there is no scratch as yet and has been for few months now. Versatile, reliable, healthy living A little heavier than my wok
