Excellent – If you want a bike that is totally different and you like engineering that is raw and practical but works and looks great then you should take one of these for a ride.I could never part with this bike and I'm proud to say that I ride it.My friends said I was mad to buy one, I say you'd be mad not to. I like the way this bike looks and sounds.I'm an inexperienced rider and this is my first road bike. At first I was a little wary of it but once I had the confidence to really give it some I soon learned how easy it was to ride and enjoy.I feel safe cornering and at speed and the bike is comfortable even after a long period of time.I like the fact that it is different and there are not hundreds of them on the road. Whenever I pull in somewhere for a rest people want to ask about it and take a closer look. It sounds brutal,it looks brutal, I love this machine with a passion! I don't have the latest model,I bought the bike second hand from a dealer so one dislike I have is the instrument cluster. I see that the new models have been improved aesthetically which is great. The only other problem I have is the fact that it's not ideal to ride in traffic. The reason for this being that it seems to get quite hot if the taffic is slow.At first I found the dry clutch a little taxing in traffic also but I hardly notice it now.The biggest problem I have is with the dealersip.Seems you can get anything you want for a Harley but accessories and backup advice for a Buell in Brisbane are hard to come by.

Excellent – After buying it with the objective of selling after 2 years for something different like I did with my GSX-R750, the XB is still in the garage 5 1/2 year later. Surprises everyone who rides it what 90hp is capable of in the right package. Turns heads where ever it goes and after basic washing and polish still lots like new. I would recommend one to anyone who isn't looking to buy based on engine output and a spec sheet as these bike are really an experience that needs to be tried to appreciate it. Extremely well setup and practical bike. Alot more comfortable than it looks, and by the way they look spectacular again anything else even though it is an 8 year old design. This bike handles like a dream, has more than enough power for public roads and really inspires confidence through corners at any pace. The sound is hypnotic, and even better with the Buell race pipe. Really top quality components and standard features and A1 build class. I've owned mine for 5 1/2 years now and the maintenance has consisted of air filters, oil and filter changes and lots of rear tyres. There is nothing that can't be maintained on this bike without a simple workshop tools. Colour moulded bodywork is not as hardy as painted plastics and scuffs pretty easily. Not too hard to polish back but need to be done pretty much every wash. Headlights are pretty bad and only there for show. Dealer support is no existant so there is a reliance on internet forums.
