Get what you pay for – I’ve got a bushmen’s dcx130 fridge that I bought 4 years ago and it’s never missed a beat so it was a no brainer for me to buy a smaller dcx50 to use as a drinks fridge, it doesn’t get my beers as cold as I like but cycling the cans though the freezer works, I find the bushmen’s fridges come into their own on very hot days running on batteries and solar full time over cheaper brands Show reply

Good bye gas fridge – Updated from a gas absorption fridge and cost savings are great. Using about 3 ah so no worries with a 120ah AGM battery and solar. Traveling full time so a good fridge is needed. Savings from gas will pay for the fridge in a year. Show reply

Fantastic Fridge! – This fridge is brilliant! Very quiet, even at night. It keeps everything chilled, even at the lowest setting, although I am in the middle of a Victorian winter! I've filled the fridge a couple of times with dairy produce, left-over meals, cans, fresh produce and the fridge has coped really well and I haven't had to throw anything out. Small, compact, yet stores alot of goodies – perfect size not to overrun the back of the car, plenty of storage space inside the fridge and now behind. Ability to turn off it great whilst not in use, but built into the draw system. Looks really smart and would happily buy this again should something happen AUSTRALIAN MADE !!!!!!! Great fridge – Purchased for a boat and replaced a Engel fridge. 10 litres more internal space for same external dimensions, can freeze in the freezer section. Runs on low power consumption from boat batteries. Very happy with this fridge. Show details ·  1

Great fridge! – great fridge runs constantly without any problems, only one problem is the racks fall out time to time, so hopefully in the future they can come up with some sort of clip to hold them in place. Show details ·  1

Perfect for my Kombi – I got the DC-50X for my Kombi. It is fantastic in regards to power consumption, efficient and very quiet. All of the installers have been so busy and I ended up doing it by myself. I would like to thank Tom from Bushman for all his advice when I went there to pick it up and I was really frustrated since noone from caravan guys wanted to help me out. very good fridge I have 2 of them 1 in my van the other in a cabin.... great – I have the small upright fridge in my caravan and it works really well. I have recently put another in a container cabin I have built and was surprised how little power it draws from my battery. Highly recommend the fridge and the service from the company. Show details
