What can I say... I haven't had the fridge all that long BUT it's a Bloody d>mn good fridge, my cans of beer sit in the bottom crisper tub and are icy cold ALWAYS, I have the temperature control on 4 and certainly don't need a fan inside like they say in online youtube posts, my aux battery now goes into float mode unlike when I had the 60l Engles running, all up I'm glad I went with the Bushman upright, good job Bushman. Easily the best and most efficient portable fridges you could possibly get. Ours is now over 20 years old and just today got her first upgrade/fix.(new panel). As a local I took it to their factory nearby and the boys from Dad down were terrific; knowledgeable,friendly and more than fair price wise. Australian through and through. Show details · 1

So happy that I chose this fridge. Excellent quality - everything looks solid and built to last. The largest fridge capacity I could find for my cabinet space. It has a highly efficient vsd compressor (haven’t needed to turn it beyond its second lowest setting - and I am very fussy about cold beer). Whisper quiet. Thermostat issues – We recently had a bushman fridge installed as part of our canopy build. We have had it for approx 3-4 months with minimal use up until recently. warmer weather we noticed that we had to keep turning up the thermostat to keep our drinks cold enough - sometimes they would freeze, but then other times they were only just cool (not cold). Today the vehicle has been sitting outside all day with about 32deg day (canopy temp is reading 42 deg and fridge 15deg) - o one has gone into the fridge at all so wondering what the issue is is. Doesn’t seem right that it is on a setting that high when everyone says it should be around 3-4….
Great beer fridge – Have set the fridge on four, works very well at that temp. I have put a frame over the fridge which keeps out direct sunlight, works very well. It sits in the back of my bt50 and used as a beer fridge. Show details · 1

Excellent fridge! – I bought this fridge for my VW Kombi camper. It arrived fast. All the details and instructions were correct. It was an easy installation. I had to swap the door hinge side over so I simply followed the instructions. It’s a very quiet fridge with great volume for its dimensions. I’m happy to have it in my camper and it’s been running really well on my back up battery using hardly any power, and keeping beers and food cold. Recommended. Show details · 1
Doesn't miss a beat – We have used the 85 for a trip to Darwin from Melbourne and it kept our food crisp and fresh along with our drinks cold. Handled all the off road corrugations just fine. We have the external cage which is great but needs sharp edges knocked off and locktight on the screws for off roading. Overall its performing very well. Show details · 1

Great fridge good on solar – The fridge is fantastic. The only problem is I thought I bought a fridge that was 12 V and 24 that could hook to my power in my van when at caravan parks. This was not so only has a 12 V to hook to my solar other than that which was my own fault great fridge. Perfect Addition to our Ute Canopy – Just love this fridge. Keeps everything cold and the freezer is a bonus for ice for drinks on a hot summers day (you can even keep ice-cream when you are camping). A game-changer – This upright fridge fits beautifully (after some modifications) into my teardrop camper. So much easier than having to dive into my Waeco (hereafter known as “the drinks fridge”). These fridges are amazing. Save power, save time, plenty of room – Only thing that could improve on the dc-85. Maybe bigger rubber feet. Bigger foot base. As once mounted they still tend to slightly wiggle have to place tiny but if rubber underneath front corners Small issue. Only been on two trips and there is small separation in side panel.
