DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS LOT – Do not deal with this lot Peter is not worth his word - because he will tell you one thing and does not follow through. The products do not work.

Never again – Silly me - I should have known that you get what you pay for. I bought the selection pack and am having trouble getting them to work on my DeLonghi Pixie machine. Sometimes I get a whole cup of coffee, other times I need to use two pods :( I wish I had read these reviews before ordering - waste of money!!

not compatible with Nespresso – I bought an assortment of boxes of 10 capsules (total of 100) supposedly compatible with my Nespresso machine. IT DOES NOT WORK ! My machine crashes almost every time and I have to throw the capsule. The aluminum cover on the capsule is too soft, not tight enough so the machine can not drill the well cover. when the successful operation and does not block the machine has almost no taste. I am really disappointed with this purchase.

Mediocre – Drinkable, but certainly not on par with Nespresso capsules. Best of the compatible capsules so far (and I've tried a lot!) For 10-20c more per capsule I will definitely be going back to Nespresso, these have a slightly stale taste to them.

Ottavo Caffe ? ! ? ! – I bought the selection pack. The pods did not work well on my Nespresso Inissia machine. I e-mailed Ottavo and got a response. The puncturing of the pods is done in a different way and the pod's plastic material is very hard and seals badly.

Some water collects in the bottom that comes from imperfect water input.

Back to Nespresso; not cheap but a very decent coffee !

Caffe Ottavo good coffee but!!!! – Thought I would give Caffe Ottavo capsules a trial, bought the sample selection pack. I found the coffee was good but, the capsules do not work very well on my Nespresso machine. When I put the capsules in they do not seal very well and a lot of the coffee drops into the spill tray inside. It's not the machine because I tried a couple of sacrificial pods without the tray in and the C O capsules definitely leak around the perforations.

Fantastic coffee, great price and free shipping to boot! – Finally I have found a really great tasting alternative to Nespresso Pods (they are just too expensive) Caffe Ottavo coffee pods are easily as good, work perfectly in my Nespresso Machine, are a lot cheaper and even come with free shipping. Their site is easy to use and delivery came the next day highly recommended I tried the following blends and they are all really good Lungo Intenso Gran Gusto Sublime

Nespresso all the way – I thought i'd give Caffe Ottavo a go, especially for the price it was at least worth a try. And yes as they say you get what you pay for. The coffee flavor, intensity, aroma. again, unless they made changes to the pods. I received an email to rate/review their coffee etc. And surprisingly my review is not showing on their site. I didn't trash them at all, just advised their coffee needs a bit more intensity. I guess unless you give them 4 or more stars their not interested in your opinion. If you like weak coffee then this could be an option, but not for me.

Not a patch on Nespresso capsules – I don't like the plastic pods. I can smell the plastic when I open the packaging. There is a lot of sediment coming out of the pods and I am worried it is going to block up my coffee pod machine. Will be going back to Nespresso.

Will not buy other than Nespresso again – Bought the sample pack of capsules from Caffe Ottavo. I have tried 2 of the varieties which don't come close to the flavour & strength of Nespresso . Only the genuine Nespresso from now on.

Intenso? I think not! – I received Intenso coffee with the expectation it would be comparable with Nespresso Ristretto as suggested on their website. The coffee is tasteless, weak and very disappointing. As they say you get what you pay for. Not a product for serious coffee lovers :(

Caffe Ottavo are the best! – Had to write a review as these coffee pods are just fantastic. They are just so much better than the Nespresso ones - a lot cheaper too! Great delivery service as well - I ordered yesterday afternoon and they arrived first thing this morning. If you like that real Italian coffee taste I'd recommend the Gran gusto or the Lungo Blends Real Italian Taste

Finally found a great coffee capsule – Have tried several so called Nespresso compatible capsules and some don't even work in my machine (DeLonghi). Most taste horrible including the ones from Woolies which have to be the worst. Just found Caffe Ottavo on the web last week so decided to try them. I bought the Intenso blend as I like a strong coffee and I have to say they taste fantastic. Flavour was fantastic
