Calibo Breeze Silent AC

We bought one of these fans with the light option. It appeared to be working, but during stormy weather the light started flickering between its selectable colour values whenever the thunder sounded. We bought another of these fans without the light option for a different location. The fan was dead-on-arrival. I performed fault finding down to the electric motor. We were looking to replace our existing fans like for like. Monica offered to show us a comparison with the latest technology, lower energy cost, higher efficiency, but was not our preferred wooden blades. just as good as our previous ones are so much quieter, and have great airflow and controls. We decided against remote control as we already spend too much time looking for our other remotes and 11 more would've been a nightmare.

We had this fan replaced under warranty 3 times. It made a very loud ticking sound, within a matter of an hour of a new one being installed. Calibo were helpful in the beginning, an electrician was sent to replace the fan each time. company, as all of their fans are made in the same factory. A way to get rid of us as customers I think? but I'm very glad they wiped their hands of us as we then purchased a Fanco fan and it's brilliant. Not a sound to be heard.

Good powerful ceiling fan – Seems like a decently powered fan, albeit pricier than alternate options. Happy with the speeds and power. Longevity remains to be seen and hard to assess for a review; Warranty registration was not as straight forward as it could be. Show reply

Excellent airflow, great appearance, but flawed design – We purchased these fans from Lighting Illusions, as we had owned other Calibo fans in the past, and love the high airflow they offer. mentioned on ProductReview and Google, they suffer a clicking noise on high speed (after about 30 mins of operation). From my understanding, and troubleshooting, it's the result of a flawed design. The plastic blades flex up and down when the fan is spinning fast, resulting in a quiet (but distinguishable and very annoying) click. Like a ticking clock. It certainly doesn't live up to the 'silent' reputation we had hoped for - and it means we can't use the highest speed (in fears of us gradually going insane).

We are currently going through the Calibo warranty process. Their team are friendly, but warranties appear to be delayed at the moment. If you're considering this fan, I would recommend you consider another model. If the ticking in the fan is resolved, I'll update my review.
