Exceptional Australian quality

published

Can take a while to set up being a very large soft floor but build quality is exceptional. All Australian build and highest quality canvas and fittings. Simple and bullet proof suspension. Our is 10 years old and I wouldn’t swap if for almost anything else on the market.

Purchased in September 2009 at Camel Group Brisbane.

Best camper

The best, we love it.

We have the Bushman with the delux kitchen and I love it. Easy to sit back and enjoy once set up which it alot faster since we have the new camper. Sometimes setting up the kitchen seems long winded and my arms do get tired from the zippers but, still faster all up and so much more time to enjoy the outside world.
Ease of use. Love the kitchen

What year is yr camper? Although camel have just gone into liquidation their website is still up and running with a video demo of how to set up.

They're pretty simple as most camels are gas strut assisted. Just unzip the outside cover then stand near the tail gate, you'll feel the framing inside the tent (goes from one side across to the other) grab the second lowest one and just push it up, once the gas seal is released it should all unfold.

There will be 4 poles inside that you need to put up. 2 in the corners and 2 spreaders that connect the corners to the temts internal framing.

Where are you? If yr local to brisbane i could probably help by showing you. If not give me a call. 0414158953 steve

Also when putting up the awning start by zipping the awning to tent then proceed to peg the ropes into ground followed by putting the poles in start at either corner of the camper then work yr way around in one direction going from one to the next. Try to tension the poles of to ropes at right angles. Should be 3-4 spreaders as well that hold the roof up going across the awning from the tent to the outside.

Best of luck. Practice makes perfect. We only put awning up if were staying for 3 days or more or weather requires it.
