From our first meeting to our last, Sean provided us with a competitive, honest, and professional opinion on what would suit our roof repairs and our desire for a new pergola. Little did we know until after all the gutters were done and the roof was ready for waterproofing and painting, that we would discover extensive termite damage to our wall frames when putting in the supports for the pergola. There was not a skerrick of damage to our roof trusses so would never have been found if not for the new pergola. Sean and team securely packed our pergola in our backyard ready for when they could return and finish their job. Fast forward eight months, following a full house repair and restoration by our building team. Sean, and his amazing team returned to complete our roof repairs. They patiently waited for our house to be completed and squeezed us in before Christmas. We are positively thrilled with our freshly painted roof, not a cracked tile in sight! The colour is outstanding! Our fabulous new pergola is awesome, it’s so quiet under it even in the heaviest of rain storms. My husband and I cannot sing the praises of Sean and his team loudly and highly enough! 100% recommend Canberra Roofing for your roofing repairs and restoration. Worse roofing company – I had a terrible bad experience with Canberra Roofing Company. Sean came to inspect our leaky roof and provided a comprehensive list of issues. He assured me that the roof would stop leaking and that he would prevent birds from entering. We accepted the quote and paid 10% upfront, with the understanding that the remaining balance would be paid after the job was completed. The job started after 12 month, [Name Removed] and his team never were communicating them when the job will start or nothing.

After paying the full amount, the issues with the leaking roof and the bird problem persisted. [Name Removed] visited several times in an attempt to fix the issues, but ultimately, he suggested that we would need a new roof — after he had already completed the job we hired him for and for which we paid in full.

Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to reach [Name Removed] via email and phone, he stopped responding altogether. Frustrated, I had no choice but to escalate the situation to NSW Fair Trading and ultimately take the matter to court.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Canberra Roofing Company. I found them to be unprofessional and lacking in integrity.
