changed cartridges and I keep getting yellow as the prime colour for the font
1. Check the font colour on your document to ensure it isn't yellow 2. Check you put the new cartridges in the correct ink slots - on my machine they are labelled below. If yours isn't labelled switch the yellow and black cartridges.
How do I clear a paper jam
Start at the front and if can't clear from peering in there, turn off for safety and open from the back - can be tricky to find out how - usually you need to push something left or right. Don't use metal pliers as they can scratch the plastic and metal stuff inside - eyebrow tweezers, specially the fluoride coated ones are good

Get Support Code 1250 message - " Paper output tray is closed. Open the paper output tray " Tray is NOT closed. Numerous attempts to rectify - including with great imagination - unsuccessful. Anybody, including Canon staff, any clues ?

Return it ASAP and get yourself an EPSON instead.
My printer is not printing cyan even though the cartridge is half full. I have run the clean and deep clean procedures but no improvement. Can you advise please?
Wipe the cartridge where the ink comes out.

This printer is a total nightmare....and sorry but do not know that. Only way is to call Canon and ask for technical support.....Good luck with that....rgs
Why when I print a page every 5th line is blurry.
This printer model is racked with faults...only way around it is to 're print that page again on it's own. The paper feeder is faulty and Canon simply refuses to do anything about them or have some sort of update. Extremely poor of Canon....Past Canon were quite good....these are a nightmare. Best solution use an HP ....they never have problems....Geeeee thanks a big lot ....Canon
Try to claim the printer under warranty....if you still can. Simply put they are a freaking nightmare. I will never ever EVER buy a canon again....Each time I need to print a doc from my fone I go to my mates place....he has a HP...works perfectly each time. Hope that helps. Canon simply just does not care......bad
Do canon have any solutions for this piece of junk Printer??? The Wi-Fi and paper feeding mechanism is at best faulty...I bought 2 of these machines and are going into the rubbish bin....cartridges are so expensive

There an unreliable printer. I am replacing mine. Have given up on it after very little use.
