Canon Pixma MG5760 Questions & Answers

I can select my Canon MG 5760 from an external device (my laptop) but, when I want to print I get a message that 'the size or type of paper loaded into the cassette is different from the print settings.' I have A4 paper in the printer (and have chosen A$ in my settings) but and it wants me to choose 'letter' as the paper size. Even if I do that it will not print as it wants me to replace the paper....what am I doing wrong?
Is it possible to buy a Canon Pixma MG5760 or other out of date Pixma MG comboprinter-scanners?

How do I scan multiple pages into one pdf on my Canon Pixma MG5760 printer?
Hi You cant. Only more expensive printers will do multiple like that. I used to scan & save each individual page & then 'cut & paste' each page onto blank word document & keep going like that until I had entire lot of pages in the one doc! Its a pain, I know! I threw my Canon printer in our bldg recycling bin last week & bought another one from Harvey Norman. I will NEVER buy another Canon product! If you google Error B203, there are a zillion posts about it! I phoned around & once that error message comes up it can never be repaired! Too costly anyway! I just bought a different brand new printer/scanner/photocopier for $38 from Harvey Norman! :)

I'm sure you can print multiple pages using the scan utility which is standard across many Canon printers/scanners. When you click scan it usually shows the first page has been scanned and you can either cancel or continue to scan further pages. Sorry I haven't been able, I think normally to scan a negative you need a slide adaptor or a dedicated negative scanner
why can't I scan a multi page document to one file. Image garden makes the pages a separate scan?
Start Image Garden, Click on Scan, Click on Settings, Select Document Scan - Ensure Data format has PDF multiple pages selected, Click OK. Click on PDF Document in toolbar, The first page will be scanned, When scan complete message is shown, Place second page in scanner, Click on scan, Second Page will be scanned, Repeat for more pages. When complete click exit. Document should now have multiple pages. Highlight document and save to your preferred location.

Im sorry I have not used an ipad with the printer. We have only used it with laptops and it has worked perfectly.
