Im trying to set up my new Canon Pima TS8060 and it keeps saying the paper outlet tray is retracted when its no, any help???
TIA
Is there any way this printer can be permanently set to the highest standard of print? I am printing photos from Image Garden and they're rubbish. There doesn't seem to be anywhere there that you can set print quality.
I have an issue with my Pixma TS8060 in that it does not print in grey scale when duplex is ticked - comes out in colour. Turn off duplex and it prints in grey scale but obviously not in duplex. Anyone else have this problem? and how was it fixed.
Canon support spent 35 minutes guiding me through printer properties without finding a solution and promised to ring back but that was 6 hours ago and nothing yet
I’m having issues with scanning.... it’s not :( can anybody assist me?
I had to download the MP Driver from the Canon website external link (didn't seem to be on the provided disc). The resulting application was called IJ Scan Utility on my computer (Windows 10 operating system). Once it was installed and opened the TS8060 scanned ok both through the application and also just using the screen on the printer. The only problem I haven't solved yet is that the scan result is saved in the folder specified in the preferences. I haven't worked out if it is possible to override the folder after the scan and before the save. Nor have I worked out if it is possible to save direct to a sub-folder. Hope this helps.
Can you get the paper to feed from the lower tray only and not the back tray? I want to put this in a cupboard and don’t want the paper to feed from the upper tray.
Hi, that is the default option. You have to specifically select to use the top tray. So should be fine. Hope that helps.
Yes... if there is no paper in the upper tray the printer will only access the lower. So just leave top empty.
I am having problems printing with this printer.. when the paper comes out from the rear feed tray it catches on the front output tray and crumbles up.. I have written to Canon and waiting on a reply from them.. meanwhile a document I need to have done by tomorrow is waiting in anticipation of an answer so I dont waste any more paper and ink.. hope someone can please help me.. the paper is catching on a little clip on the left of the output tray .. shame I cant post a photo so it shows what I mean.. cant find anything in the manual .. thank you
Hi, Although I am not a printer tech, this might help you; try the following - +++ 1. pull out and detach the front paper holding tray and CD printing tray completely 2. pull out the printing output tray
3. check if there anything on the printing output tray that could stop prints coming out; you might find something here
4. now put back the CD printing tray and front paper holding tray back to original position
5. try printing now; once you finished printing push the printing output tray back to original close position
6. if still no luck, talk to the shop from where you bought this.
++++
Cheers.
thanks for your reply.. my son worked out the problem and it was a fault with the printer so I took it back and it was replaced.. all good now thanks..:)
Does this printer work with a mac running OSX 10.7.5?
I am not sure about OSX version 10.7.5. However, as per Canon official drivers download page for this printer - it says following regarding the Mac version driver: +++ Content Id: 0100770504 OS Version: macOS v10.12, OS X v10.11, OS X v10.10, OS X v10.9, Mac OS X v10.8
+++
I use Windows 10 and Mac OSX 10.12.3 - they both working OK with this printer.
Cheers.
