Absolutely hopeless device. Got it to connect once, then it stopped working again. Even contacted support to upgrade the firmware, still never worked. Bought from Big W marketplace and now working through the "return a faulty product" process. Show details

Scam product. Do not order – This company is a complete scam. Ordered the product from their 'official' website. All looked legit but the tracking number they gave me only worked in China. After a week of it saying it was in my country and still hadn't arrived I challenged them on it. Only when I threatened with consumer affairs suddenly my tracking number went from being in… Read more

Australia to magically back in China. And when I accused them of being dodgy and requiring an explanation I had my order cancelled and a claim that 'my refund is coming' still have not received and don't expect to.

Save yourself and order a real product. There is a reason this one sounds too good to be true.

Started out great but then it just died – The 5 came as promised and worked the same until a few weeks in it started skipping and now it just won’t come on all together. Waste of good money. Thanks for nothing carlinkkit Show details

Wireless not better – Purchased this for my new car. The lag from speaking to hearing makes it worthless. Continuously cut out and required reset which does not help on long trip. Returned for refund hopeless Show details

Dissapointing – I bought 2 of these one for me and one for my colleague. We both have 2021 Nissan Navara I have iphone and he has android. Mine fails to work at least every day sometimes more than once meaning I have to diconnect it and plug it back in or reboot my phone. My colleague's did the same to the extent he has gone back to cable. Show details

Get rid of those usb phone cables in your car – I recently purchased a Toyota Corolla Cross SUV & like many new cars, it doesn't have a wireless Android Auto connection. I started researching wireless AA adaptors. I decided to get the Carlinkit 5.0 2air, which luckily was on special on Amazon, at the time. The dongle is quite small & easily accomodated in the center console, & connected with… Read more

the supplied USB C cable (a USB A cable is also supplied). Set up was straight forward & I simply followed the on screen instructions. Once installed, I paired my Samsung phone & the Android Auto icon appeared on the home screen of the car's media system. I wanted to play mp3 files from my phone & had to download an android auto compatible app from the Google Playstore. There are many music apps available, I downloaded one called 'Musicolet', which works well. Google Maps & Waze both work perfectly & I have only had one dropout in 600 km of driving. The Carlinkit 5.0 will work wirelessly with both Apple Carplay & Android Auto, though I have only used it with Android Auto. It takes about 20 seconds after the car is started to connect to the phone & mp3 music starts playing automatically, if you were listening to it when the car was previously stopped. I would highly recommend this wireless dongle, if you want wireless phone connection to your car's audio system.
