Does what it should well – We have been using this Chef Multifunction oven and we're extremely satisfied with it's performance. It cooks well in conventional and fan assist modes. It cooks pretty even, but as with most ovens I've used, results are better with rotating the cooking position. Chef is an Australian made lower level sister brand to Westinghouse, which has it's advantage in that it's design isn't being tinkered with all the time and I believe this longevity of design, along with basic dials instead of push button controls brings reliability. Reliability was an important factor when buying, as these days just the cost of a blown element and a faulty thermostat will force you to decide whether repairs or replacement is the most economic.
Purchased in at The Good Guys for $720.

Amazing oven ! – I am delighted with my new oven . It does all I need it to do and does it well .. It is a joy to use and has never failed me so far. I would recommend this chef for its reliability and simplicity. I coped without an oven for so long .. It’s a pleasure now to have a new one . I didn’t want one with all bells and whistles. I would not use half of them !! This is perfect for me and easy to clean too ..

Cheap and not so cheerful – Saw some good reviews for chef ovens. So bit the bullet. Wish Id spent more money! Cooks food ok but seems to create a terrible mess in the oven .just roasting a chook leaves me with a very grubby door and floor. The worse thing though is the very sharp edge at the base of the door at the back. Even knowing its there,I have cut my finger, once very badly, while cleaning it. Might have to put up with a dirty door and all 5 fingers in the future!!
