The freezer door is suspect.non contact closure can result in freezer overworking/complicated fridge electronics....might as well throw it out after 6 monthsome me

The fridge is SUB STANDARD. Complicated instructions. We have a CHOQ fridge -newer , THE MAKER OVER COMPLICATE SIMPLICITY - Send it to SCRAP METAL .

We have just bought a ChiQ 202L Refrigerator and we turned it on there is a very loud weird noise , noose only stops when we open the fridge dood and it comes back when we close it. I had the same issue. They sent out a technician and he said it was normal. I can hear the fridge clearly from over 10 meters away.
We have a two door Chiq one side is fridge other side is freezer. I keep veggies in the compartment for veggies in the fridge and my broccoli always goes off! Why is this? Settings are as per recommendation. TIA

Hello we bought a CHIQ fridge freezer just before Christmas and the fridge isstruggling to get drinks cold and ice cream wont freeze It's on 5 which is apparently the coldest setting. Can you help me out please. My old bar fridge was way colder just not big enough

Hi, I changed my fridge Chiq 380 Fridge / Freezer from Freezer to Fridge for Christmas and now it won’t change back to freezer. I have tried several times as per the instructions without any luck. I have 2 lambs coming tomorrow so I am hoping you may be able to steer me in the right direction as to why this is not switching over. The appliance is about 18 months old. Kind regards, Anthea

We have had our fridge for about a year and a half now. We just got back from a week's holiday and it is now making gulping noises and the fridge compartment is not cold although it still says 3 degrees?

Hi, I’ve had my Chiq fridge about two years now. It’s suddenly started to freeze my produce. I have ensured all the air flow vents are not blocked. Any idea why this could be. I’ve even had it sent on vacation mode at 14° and it’s still happening Model CBM431S Thank you

I had this problem. Inside the back wall of freezer is a fan and a flap to direct cold air. That flap is not functioning (diode or wiring faulty) so i have almost no cold air going to the fridge compartment, most going to freezer.

My fridge is a couple of years old now, no problems really other than the fridge is very cold soft drink cans are close to freezing and veges in crisper freeze. I have it set on 2 won’t go any lower.

Hi there, I have a Chiq fridge (2 months old) freezer on the bottom. Has been working perfectly but as of today it’s making a loud rattling / humming noise that stops when you open the fridge door. Can someone tell me why ? Thank you
We had the same problem and have seen many others on here also experiencing the same issue. CHIQ responded to our comment on here and after a phone call they organised for a repairman to come the next day. He said it was a fault in the fridge and took him 5 minutes to replace the flap causing it and it’s been great ever since. Great customer service from CHIQ so hopefully same happens for you. There was no charge.

Hi I purchased a fridge from Harvey Norman about 4 months the freezer at bottom works great but I’ve noticed the fridge is not that cold fridge temperature is 2 and freezer temperature is-17 have I set it wrong or what do you think it should be set at? The model number is CBM395NBS 396 litre thanks Michelle
CHIQ will see this and respond appropriately. We had issues and they responded here and after a phone call we had a repairman on the job the next day. Apparently it’s a common issue the repairman said but took him 2 minutes to fix and been working fine since. Good luck and I’m sure they’ll give you the same excellent customer service we received.
We the same problem, both brandnew . 1st the fridge completely not functioning on its 11 month. They replaced it since, it’s still under warranty. But the same problem on its 16th month, but we cant use the 2yrs warranty anymore because they base on the 1st purchase. So disappointing because there’s a pattern that the fridge works well only in less than 16 months. Model CBM432. Our unit is well taken care ,even looks brandnew , but completely useless fridge now.

Hello bought my chiq refrigerator last Sunday but the freezer works perfect, the lower compartment is lighting but doesn't cool at all. I waited the hours I was told before switching it on and it has not worked since. What could be the problem?
