A Big upgrade for me
Decided to retire our reliable 7 year old 40 inch Changhong with the current Chiq U50H10,
Its a huge upgrade a revolution
Bigger screen with better vivid picture quality and colour detail provided with the HDR 10 is amazing..!
the Audio is certainly better, the setup straightforward, the Android apps is a great addition.
So very pleased
Purchased in December 2020 at Harvey Norman for $495.00.
Only good for a few Months
It starts off smooth, the first demirit you see is that you have to hold your remote close to the TV
Besides that, casting is fine and the TV is relatively smooth
Few months down the road, I can't even cast Netflix on it right now nor can I manually go into Netflix to watch a show, I can only use it for HDMIs
Purchased in August 2019 at Harvey Norman for $600.00.
The absolute crappiest TV I've ever owned
This TV freezes constantly, the remote malfunctions constantly.. Very disappointed in my purchase. Chiq gave it a massive talk up, but it never performed fail of a TV, will never buy again

- U50H10 (50")
Picture is bad. Chiq 50" U50H10
So many people gave this TV 5 stars. No idea why, it's pretty terrible. The most important thing you want is good picture right? This doesn't have it. Picture is terrible, very washed out and grainy. 4k UHD, yeah right.... Sound is horrific but I guess that's what you can expect from basic TV speakers. Does have some good functions and is a good size. But all in all the picture looks very bad. You get what you pay for with this $500/$600 TV. I signed up for the promotional 5 year warranty which was very attractive but now I don't think I want this TV for 5 years. My 8 year old LG non-smart TV has better picture than this one.
Purchased in March 2020 for $600.00.
Questions & Answers
how do you link it to Alexa Echo? I can platy apps etc but not seem to be able to get it to connect to the tv and wifi as well- despite it being available. Is there a setting?
U65H10 only displays in 1080p hd
Can it be turned on to 4k or did I waist my money?
It shows 4k if the program is available in 4k- i tried YouTube and found that there is a difference- in docos- try it if you cant find a movie in 4k at least on my u50h10
I refunded my chiq and exchanged it for a Sony's latest 4k android nine 65 inch. Its like chalk to cheese, so much better. It 4k enhances all resolution pictures if they are not already 4k. And what is 4k is so much clearer and crisper
