New Circulon Cookware Set a big let down – Have had Circulon pots for many years, so decided to buy a new set as non stick was starting to come off old pots. First use, and I am so disappointed, I used the same way as old pots, which were quite fast to heat up, half an hour later and new post is still not boiling, and steamer on top is cold! I don't want to wait that long, and it is a… Read more

waste of electricity. As these are not cheap, I expected better, I might have to trade them for a cheap set that works!

Now Made In China! – I’ve been purchasing Circulon for over 20 years so I was dumbfounded when my new and expensive set of pans deteriorated within a year. I called their customer service support (joke) and provided pictures and after two months of tracking them down, was informed that this was just normal wear and tear. Then after investigating further I found out… Read more

they moved their manufacturing to China. Very bad decision in my opinion and will never purchase Circulon again.

Sadly they are NOT non-stick! – I bought a set of 3 Circulon frying pans from Myer - not a cheap purchase. They were only non- stick for a short time then everything began to stick and I had to use more and more olive oil or butter to prevent sticking which defeats the purpose. I never have the pans on high heat and always clean them carefully. I’m very disappointed in the product. Such a shame as I had great expectations of these pans. Show details

Terrible, lifetime warranty a joke – I bought a set of the frypans, initially were great but deteriorated over time and no longer non stick. Contacted circulon and wait for it, they said I had over heated them hence the reason they are no longer non stick. DO NOT BUY CIRCULON  Show details

Great brand and brilliant customer service – Have recently had some issues relating to some circulon cookware I owned. Dealt with Pam in customer service who I supplied all of my photos too about the issues I was having. My concerns were addressed and my problems were resolved very quickly and effectively true to their promise of no fuss warranty. Pam you deserve recognition the wonderful service you provide. Show details ·  1

The non-stick coating will fail if you burn oil on it – These are great. They probably have a low average rating because no one thinks to review their frying pans. They are perfectly non-stick, and have stayed that way for the last 6 years since I've had them new. However, I had a habit of cooking steaks on one of my pans - that pan sticks now. The oil has burned and trapped in the little grooves. I… Read more

now avoid using high heat/oils on the other pans. You should be cooking on high heat with cast iron or stainless steel anyway.

A lot of money for a lot of nothing – Have owned these pans for 2 years now bought a set of 3 and an extra large one , I have never had them in the oven or dishwasher and always use a medium temperature to cook with and after 12 months of use they stick really bad , the nonstick is useless, I bought some cheap pans to cook eggs and other foods which works much better and cost 1/4 of the price, they always say you get what you pay for and in this instance it was not the case Show details

Obvious Design Fault - Very Disappointed – For an advanced, quality range of cookware I am disappointed with a very basic design fault that bugs me no end. I purchased the 3 pack Symmetry set and threw all of my Scanpan, Anolon and old Circulon frying pans away. The accompanying packaging stated that the pans were dishwasher safe so in the new pans went. When I took them out I… Read more

discovered a very simple design flaw. The steel tips of the handles that allow you to hang the pan are so cheaply made that water remains inside until you continue to turn the pan upside down and rotate a few times to remove the water. If you don't do this then water ends up dripping all over everything the pan sits on or above. Better design control or market research expected from this brand.

Wears off easily with heavy usage – Update 21-Jan-2021: After 3 years of usage all the initial novelty of Circulon has gone. To highlight the various issues, like I said earlier I use it too frequently (2-3 times a day), over the period non-stick properties diminishes. Colour inside the pan start to change (gets darker especially around portion touching the cooktop, which faces the… Read more

direct heat). Handles and bottom starts browning slowly, this is despite using it on high heat for initial 2-3 mins and then slowing it down to medium. Also few dish requires high heat, in such cases, it is useless to use Circulon as company suggest only put on high heat for initial few minutes and then reduce the heat. So you are effectively spending a bomb on a product, which you cannot use for all styles of cooking. I followed Circulon suggested cleaning method of putting water/vinegar and heating it slowly and try to clean but that does not help remove the residue fully though it does reduce it to some extent. Lifetime replacement warranty is all sham and they ask for photos and as soon as they see darker inside or browning outside, straight away claim is rejected. Worst part is that I have one full 11 PC set and one 32" wok. Each of the utensil have same problem. So it is not a one off case. The utensil that gets used more gets the problem quicker, the utensils that get used less has the problem to lesser degree. If you intended to use utensil for deep frying or high heat settings or frequently then Circulon is not your option. You have much cheaper options which will last more and even if same, you can replace them for their cost.

Update from 3 Years Ago: I work full time and yet cook very frequently (at least 6 days a week). Moreover, I cook at least 3 dishes while cooking. Moreover, I cook dinner at night and breakfast/lunch together in the morning. This may give you a hint how frequently my kitchen equipment are utilised. Since I purchased Circulon Symmetry Chocolate (11 piece set), majority of my cooking is happening in that kit. I can vouch that you can cook without oil. However, you do have to follow instructions provided by Circulon, i.e. Heat the vessel for 1-2 mins on high heat, then put all your ingredients on the heated vessel, give a toss to the ingredients and reduce the heat to medium or medium-low. If you are cooking gravy, you can happily put lid on as well to cook the food faster. But never ever try to increase flame to high and try to quicken the process. By increasing the flame to high, vessel gets really heated up and food starts sticking. In my view, many do not follow the medium/medium low flame cooking and that causes either them to use oil or without oil food starts sticking. In my opinion, Circulon is well suited for slow cooking. Not that people cannot use it for high flame or quick cooking but to use in that manner, you should add little oil (usually 1/4th the oil of what you will use in traditional vessel) and then cook the food. In that way, food will not stick and your oil usage is considerably reduced (low cholesterol). Irrespective, on what heat you cook in, handles stay cool on them. However, same cannot be said of the lids. Lids and especially the steel surrounding gets really hot (even if you cook at low heat). Lid does have stay cool handle, handle the lid using that only and try not to touch steel surrounding. Product is neither too lite nor too heavy. They are breeze to clean, either by hand or in dish-washer. You can even put them in oven, though they are oven-safe only till 200 C only.

Happy with the product – I bought my Circulon symmetry frypans several years ago. They did lose their non-stick ability after a few years but I've had both replaced recently under the lifetime warranty which I thought was wonderful customer service. I do have other frypans which I think have better non-stick ability but not to the extent that it would prevent me buying another Circulon frypan (which I did today).  Show details

Great product – I cannot get over how circulon stands by their products; bundled with their customer service and quality it is a formidable brand. Not bad for the money – Pack of 3 non stick frypans pans were 70% off recently at myer - then I also saw them for 70% off at a homewares shop! Duped ! Oh well, chucked by crappy scan pans for these new pans. They stick if you don't put a little bit of butter or oil on them but if you do this they work ok. Food kinda gets stuck in the circular pattern they should drop… Read more

Circulon Warranty – My 10" pan began to loose it's nonstick finish and was sticking. I contacted their customer service dept. and was told to submit photos. Four days later they sent me a beautiful 12" pan and lid to replace my old one. What a pleasant surprise, and so fast. My hats off to Circulon, they were wonderful.  Show details

Now I understand what non-stick truly means ! SO easy to clean ! – After years of purchasing supermarket non-stick fry pans, I now know what non-stick truly means with the Circulon Symmetry skillet. To test it out I started with eggs, which turn out beautifully and slide right out of the pan without having to use any oils. I then moved to making fry dishes with seafood and then meats and have had the same… Read more

perfect results every time. When the recipe calls for oil I use a small amount to quickly fry chilli's or garlic and then add the meats & veggies. The skillet is so easy to clean, even just a wipe with a damp cloth does the trick after cooking eggs or rinse under warm water with detergent takes just seconds.

After 6 months of use, absolutely nothing has stuck to the pan and the coating is still in the same condition as the day I purchased it - no scratches or marks.

The fry pans I used to purchase from the supermarket would never be truly non-stick from day one and therefore within a few months they look dirty and the coating surface starts to come off when you try to clean them. Knowing that the coating surface is likely coming off while I am cooking food is extremely unappealing and probably not healthy. That worry is now gone with the Circulon Symmetry.

I purchased on sale for half price and a number of online and retail stores regularly have it on sale at the same price. That makes it approx. double the price of the supermarket ones but totally worth it in my view considering peace of mind of no coating in my food and based on the performance so far it should easily last more than double the time of the others, making the Circulon Symmetry a sensible $ purchase.

Great product service – I purchased a Circular Symmetry 21.5cm in June 2016. By September 2016, I noted that the non-stick is no longer effective. I have taken great care of the pan, using a silicon spaddle, using a non abrasive sponge, using warm soap water to rinse, etc. I wrote to Customer service and sent in photos to show that the colour had changed to brown… Read more

within the pan.

Customer Service reverted very promptly and mentioned that whilst they cannot see any manufacturer's fault, out of goodwill, they will provide a replacement.

I am glad with that approach, as I really want the non-stick, but it seems that other brands use a coating that goes off and leaches into the food whilst cooking.

This is their feedback: The bases on our cookware conduct heat very well therefore, less energy is required to achieve optimum performance. We recommend pre-heating the pan for 1 to 2 minutes before adding food and then reducing the temperature to a low to medium heat. The base will retain the heat to enable you to brown and sear your food. With regard to the residue, we recommend washing with hot soapy water & a nylon bristle brush or a sponge/pad suitable for non-stick.

Don't waste your money – This is the worst pan I've used as far as its non stick quality. I normally don't spend too much on land but decided to get a more expensive one this time so that it was his last a bit longer. Within 2 months food was already sticking and it wasn't cleaning properly. The website seems to suggest that if the pans stop sticking that it's due to… Read more

how they're cared for. I take good care of my pans. They're washed correctly, never in the dishwasher, etc. so if I have to treat them differently to how I treat a cheaper pan just so they last as long then that's not a good quality pan in my book.

I can't even cook an egg on this pan!

I won't buy circulon again.

After contacting Circulon, they have agreed to replace our pan. So on the customer service side of things we are very happy with the result.

Would rather buy a $20 pan once a year! – Started out good. I like the shape and feel of the pan. Seemed easy to clean for first few months. should do and why is this happening- they did not answer my questions but have sent a replacement pan but said that they can see I'm not taking care of it properly so won't replace again. Fantastick Non Stick – What a pleasure to have a pan that actually does what the manufacturer claims.yes it does not stick. The one thing with this pan though is because of its… Read more

size (305mm) it cooks slow, so if you want a fast sizzle you may have to use a smaller diameter pan.

I use all my pans on an electric cook top so I have to be pretty fussy about the base contact with the glass surface.

This one is nice and flat and conducts the heat evenly .

I recommend this product above all my pots and pans except for the Infinite pans from the same manufacturer which i will review in a week or two.

Wonderful high quality, lasts an age if you care for it – We just keep adding to our Circulon cookware because the stuff is so good. Obviously you have to treat it properly but it is great quality and the food always comes out great and it's a dream to keep clean. The glass lids fit well, are nicely domed and don't mist up. The weight is good and the heat distribution excellent. We love them  Show details
