After researching and comparing most ceiling fans, we settled on 6 units of the 48" & 52" Summer DC range by Claro, some with LED lights some without. Those ceiling fans are amazing and we are so glad we picked Claro, its technology is second to none that I have owned prior. We love it has 6 speeds, quiet and energy efficient as it says. Everything I expected very good – I have now installed a total five of the fans and we are very happy we bought them they work great no noise and the remotes make it so easy to use also the delivery from day of buying was quick only three days many thanks would not hesitate to use again
Excellent – Purchased 4 of these fans for installation in our weekender/beach-house, and have been delighted with them......so much so that I purchased a 5th one for another room. [& the slowest is nice & slow :-) ], can be set so that the wall switch turns on the light whenever you enter the room [ie. when the fan is not in use], it is a nice bright white LED light, simple to install, and being DC it is energy efficient. I couldn't be happier with them, and the fam have been similarly complimentary.....altho they're not as pedantic as us - they're just pleased they got a fan in their bedrooms!! :-)

Whisper quiet and nice to look at – Quiet when running at lowest and second lowest speed. Usually only need to have it on speed 3. Very effective. Great size for a medium size bedroom. Love the timer function, and the three different light options. Show details
Excellent product – We purchased 2 of these fans and are very happy with them and the service we received. The fans look good and are super quiet and efficient. Such an improvement on our old noisy fans! Although LED lights are not my favourite, there are 3 settings to chose from, which is helpful. Show details

Great fan, does the job perfectly – Installed this unit under the patio and it works a treat. Easy installation. If I was being super critical I’d have to say the remote control holder is less than perfect but it does the job and is a minor complaint. Quality fan at reasonable price – Recently changed over 5 of my ceiling fans and used both 48" and 52" fans with remotes and has definitely been a big improvement to quality of life in the house. Changing over all 5 took around 4 hours to do by myself (I'm a licensed electrician). Highly recommend to others to change over/install brand new into your house. Show details
Beats the local offerings – Ordered online arrived much sooner than i expected in country WA. There is a bit of assembly required so do that before paying the sparky time to do it. quite bright in a smallish room but the various selections help The remote defaults to the light selection you last used. Little bit expensive but better than the one replaced by far.

Reasonably priced DC fan with good performance – Good - very quiet (no audible motor hum), good range of speeds. Includes balance kit but not needed on ours which has timber blades, no wobbling. Unusual feature - light on/off is "remembered", so if light was off when fan turned off at wall switch, it will stay off when fan turned on at wall switch. So remote is needed to turn light on. This is different to our other fans with remotes where the light always comes on when the wall switch is turned on. Not sure if this is the same for all DC fans as our other fans are AC.

One addition would make these perfect – Overall the fans are great. Only thing holding them back are the lack of a light switch other than on the remote. We all want the remote near the bed as to be able to turn the fan on or off or adjust the speed. However we need a light switch at the doorway. What I think would be perfect is an additional remote with just an on/off switch for the light so it could be mounted at the doorway. Show details

timer, 3 LED light setting and has a timer. Our only problem was finding out how to switch the fan from summer to winter mode. It's worth noting that the fan must be switched on and moving (against my expectation) to engage the mode. You then press the F/R button on the remote for 3 seconds and leave up to 15 seconds for the mechanism to change over automatically. Thankfully the great customer service was quick to reply to each of my emails (in which I included video of the problem I was experiencing). I suggested this additional bit of advice might be helpful in the instructions. We've only had the fan installed about 3 weeks ago, but we're very happy with it and recommend it to others.
Best fans – We purchased three of these fans from Universal Fans and they are excellent. Very quiet, 6 speeds that mean you can have a sight breeze on the lowest setting, the timer function is great and 3 light colours. Best ceiling fans we’ve had. Show details
Wonderful Fan!! – I love the Summer, it's a great price for a DC fan and is lovely and quiet in my bedroom. The timer function is great! I can have a gentle breeze when I go to sleep but it won't still be going once the night cools down.
