works quite well. I often drip a few drops on potential stains dry and leave for 48hrs with predominantly positive results

This product worked really well on dirty stained clothes (toddler), the clothes came out extremely clean and in the case where I also added in vanish nappy sand was amazingly effective Received a free box in exchange for a product review (influenster) Show details

Sudsy Residue + Overpowering Smell I've used this detergent since I moved out of home ~22 years ago, because my mom didn't trust me to wash my own laundry in hot water. I had changed to the capsules a little while ago, but recently tried the liquid again only to find it's a very different product than what it used to be. I'm not particularly… Read more

sensitive to smells, but my clothes REALLY smell scented after using it, and they all seem to have an oily/sudsy residue on them. I ended up buying a new washing machine because I thought my washing machine wasn't rinsing/spinning properly. I should be madder about that, because it turns out it was my detergent, and I threw away what turns out was a perfectly good washing machine.

If I were to guess, I suspect that the new enzyme they've added requires "cold" water, and the water coming out of my taps is not "cold" enough to activate it? That seems silly, but that's the only thing I can think of. Like, this detergent doesn't work, did nobody test it?

I've changed detergents because of this.

Cold Power Advanced Clean Powder STINKS!!! – I have used Cold Power powder for over 20 years but now it literally STINKS!!! Not only is the products smell REPULSIVE but you now have to rinse clothes numerous times to remove the sudsy residue and I need to say it again, that DISGUSTING SMELL!!! I also try to use less than the specified amount of washing powder when I can. Otherwise, it takes… Read more

too many rinse cycles to rid the sudsy residue and the products AWFUL SMELL from clothes before adding the now always much required fabric softener that Cold Power leaves you needing on everything. Unfortunately, for sports/work clothes you have to use the recommended amount of powder and probably have to wash twice because even though the clothes cleaning requirements haven't changed, the product doesn't clean as well as it used to either (and no, it's not the washing machine, water, etc...). 'Henkel' please return to the original formula because it was what everyone used to use and recommended. Now, everyone I know who used to use Cold Power has already swapped to other powder brands because of the smelly residue. Powder is always better than liquid, so that won't change but I will finally need to change the brand we have used for decades, when I finish this last box of Cold Power Advance Clean :(

Pretty Good – A 2kg Cold Power was on special at Woolworths for $12 so I figured it was a good time to try it out. I know “plastics”are an issue and I am a recycler but I find no scoops in with the detergent incredibly inconvenient. The carton explains the tablespoon method, maybe I am just old and cranky.I will probably end up converting to a liquid,I am not at… Read more

all fussed about the smell. The actual detergent dissolves well..no powder residue is evident..and the clothes smell fresh and look clean, however it is not recommended for silks or woolens.Personally I think its on par with my normal choice. It is recommended when soaking or handwashing to fully dissolve powder before adding items. The carton is recyclable. The detergent is suitable for front and top loaders.

There is something seriously wrong with this powder – Dissolved a capful in warm water. Got distracted by something else then came back about 6 hours later. The power had absorbed the liquid and turned ROCK HARD so HARD that when I tried to prise it out of my ceramic holder, the holder shattered. This was how HARD the "powder" turned into . I swear it is cement powder they are putting in. This really cannot be good for your washing machine Show details
