Cold Power Powder

Stopped using Cold Power over 1 year ago – I used Cold Power for years it cleaned my clothes and got out the stains then slowly the product stopped doing what it used to do, it became an inferior product so i started trying other brands i still have not settled on one particular brand like i did with Cold Power till it stopped doing the job when i find one i will recommend on line Show details

It does "OK" but may switch when my stock runs out – - Been a regular user since 2012 and had been happy with it - Recent times not as much. - I have a front loader washing machine, that is cleaned every 3 months. - Cold Power powder came in two variants "front loader" and "top loader" - Always bought the "front loader" and it had been excellent, cannot fault. - They then switched to a single powder… Read more

that is compatible with "front loader" and "top loader" - This has been in the market for a while. - Since then we noticed the washing not being as good as the original stand alone "front loader" formula, the clothes are not as clean/fresh smelling, increase of powder residue in the machine and there is noticeable soap scum increase in the machine.

- Seems to be overly compromised to try to suit all machines. The saying comes to mind "OK for everyone, but not ideal for anyone"

A lot better now – We've used Cold Power powder for as long as I can remember and this new formula is just awesome, it smells great too. It dissolves quickly. I love it! I honestly have no idea why others are complaining. Show details

Why did they change the powder? – I have used Cold Powder for years...and it’s been great until the last 6 months. It’s like sand and doesn’t dissolve at all even when I have premixed it with water. I want to know what has been added to make this such a disaster. I will not buy it again. Show details

Absolutely the worst washing powder I ever used - It stains white sheets!!!! – I thought I would try some Cold Power Powder laundry detergent recently. I popped in my nice white sheets and pillow cases and out they came with brown stains on them. Same with my white t-shirts. Washed them repeatedly over several weeks and even switching washing machines. Switched back to my usual washing power after the Cold Power ran out and after a couple of washes my sheets and white T-shirts were nearly white again. Enough said.
