COLDEEZ is a fake portable air conditioner – Fake goods pretending to be from the USA when is dropped shipped from CHINA in around 60 days. Goods do not work and in fact heat up and does not blow any cold are. Is a cheap fan from CHINA and their return policy is customer have to pay the freight of $80 USD which is a joke. ALL REVIEWS ARE FAKE AS WELL.
Coldeez Cooling Ace - Not Quite What The Advertisements Tell Us – The Coldeez Cooling Ace is a small battery powered "air conditioner" designed to provide cool air to perhaps one person. Being light and compact it does sit easily on a table top or on a bedside cabinet. It has a rechargeable built in battery, 3 speed settings and produces a good flow of air, especially in its high speed setting. It is widely advertised on ebay by Amazon and numerous other sales outlets, and varies in price from $21.80 to around $85 for exactly the same product - in other words check before you buy. The advertising states that it uses "the most advanced technology ... and an evaporative air cooling cartridge to turn unbearable hot air into cool refreshing air instantly, and can cool air by 20F in just 30 seconds." The problem here is that the word "evaporative" when applied to cooling systems means that water is used in that process. Certainly there is no place water can to be used in this device. Basically what the consumer is buying is a very simple, battery powered fan. At $21.80 it might be a reasonable purchase but for $60, $70 or $80+ it is not an air conditioner in the way the advertising suggests. An amazingly similar unit is sold under the name Shiren Cooling Ace .......... I purchased the cooler from a Chinese company named Hilipert who state that there is a 30 day return policy if the product is faulty or is not satisfactory. The problem here is that the buyer has to return the cooler at a cost of $50 to $80 ie. the buyer paid around $80 for the cooler, sends it back and ends up with ………? Confused, you bet! My advice, avoid Hilipert and if you want a cooler for personal use, buy a fan.
False advertising – This is NOT a portable air conditioner but just a tower fan and it is most definitely NOT quiet when running but quite noisy. Tried to send back to where purchased from but was told shipping cost would be $50 - $80 AU but they were prepared to send me $8.00 as a refund. Pretty disappointed with the experience. Mine was purchased from a Company called Hilipert in China

Exactly the same unit is now being advertised via e-mails by “Zekear” or (topchicdeals.com) with some extraordinary claims. For example “ a team of engineers has come up with this revolutionary air cooler ……pumps out freezing cold airflow…… it wouldn’t be surprising to see a price tag of up to $300 …. Claimed to be a bargain at around $69 “ which will surpass the outdated , energy gulping air conditioners.” Many fans are available at less than that so even $69 is ridiculous). Photos in the advertisements show what appears to be “freezing mist” coming from the unit. Remember, this is not an air conditioner, it is an over priced, over hyped fan, not made in the USA as claimed and the warranty is useless.
