Coles Dairy Free Barista Almond Milk

Liquid saw dust ruins any semblance of deliciousness from morning coffee – Chucking “Barista” on the box unfortunately doesn’t save this lacklustre attempt at a great milk substitute. For those of us that want the flat white experience without the lactose digestive issues or the overpowering flavour of soy, a good oat milk is a godsend. This however needs to be shelved permanently. Stick to budget items Coles.
Purchased in at Coles for $3.50.
Best on a budget for coffee – I use almond milk for coffee only and find a lot of brands either don't froth, or have a weird burnt taste. This one still tastes creamy and thick for my morning coffee.
Oat milk is better – Barista Oat milk is better for coffee. I find almond milks to have everchanging flavours, barista oat milk froths well and is usually a predictable taste when brand hopping.
Purchased in at Coles for $3.99.
If you need an unwanted cleanse – Almond milk should never taste like watered down melted vanilla ice cream - but this does. It also leaves a bonus unwanted slimy film in the mouth then there is the instant trip to the toilet. Unless this is your idea of a good time this product is highly not recommended - tastes like bogs -Zero Stars!!
