build up from both products (Note: products (Coles and Omo) were never used at same time, but months apart so one is not compromising performance of the other). At least the Coles product is cheaper and does not have a strong nasty odour like Omo.

One super annoying aspect is the Coles washing powder does not include a measuring cup/spoon so you have to supply your own. I don't have a spare measuring cup that could handle continual use soap smell AND cooking, so need to buy one if I wanted to use this product again. The insulting marketing around this exclusion is 'saving the environment'. I LOVE that Coles banned single use plastics; but having to go and buy some other product to use their own smacks of greenwashing. A bamboo version would be a great replacement if they were really serious about 'saving the environment'.

Bottom line is this product's new formula fails to clean clothes, and leaves a residue that you can feel on the clothes once dry and makes them stiff. I don't know what has happened with clothes washing detergents over the last 1-2 years. Begging ANY brand to bring back formulas from only 1-2 years ago that actually worked.

One of the WORST detergents! Waste of money! – Literally did nothing! I'd bought this because it was cheap, and didn't want to waste a more expensive detergent on clothes that weren't soiled, etc ... but it literally did nothing. Brilliant product – For the usual shirts, under-wear, sheets etc., this stuff is just great. Can't speak highly enough of it. And for $7, it's great. Stick some bicarb soda in with it, say a tablespoon, and you're on a winner. No dramas. As to allthe other mobs...'their dreaming'. Powder vs capsules – Voles needs to go back to original recipe as new with Aussie manufacturer and the powder shows it. powder recipe makes the sheets and shirts scratchy and itchy even when using extra rinse cycle. Bought the capsules which are still made in Europe and what a difference. The sherts and clothing are silky smooth again. New powder recipe is not worth the money. Great laundry power. Does the work and cost less – I used to buy other brands when they were on sales, so I v tried many brands. Since I know the Coles laundry power received a high score from Choice, I tried it and I love it. It does the work, and doesn’t leave strong perfume or white residue on clothes. I v been using it for over 2 years and will continue buying. Recently it has 2kg pack for $6.5 which saves more. Great product! I would definitely recommend it. Show details

Don't waste money on expensive brands – Not surprised that this powder rated first place when Choice did a review. I've been using it for years and I'm very happy with it. Cleans as well as anything else but costs way less. Just brilliant. Show details

No fragrance! – I purchased this washing detergent as I believe it's had positive reviews, however it has zero scent. Upon removing my clothes, I like to smell a fragrance - with this product there is none whatsoever. And this was not the sensitive version, where one doesn't expect a fragrance so I will not be buying this product again.
