If you’re looking to get frustrated and angry then buy this product. I guess that this product was never tested or used by its producers . The perforations(if you can find them) don’t work and the box is beyond flimsy and once you try to tear at perforation it shreds in many places and then you’re screwed. You’ll never get a whole sheet again..on… Read more
the good side if you can get a whole sheet without tearing it in shreds and the box folds , then it DOES work.. this product desperately needs rethinking on packaging and perforation.. then I think it will be worth buying.. I had to throw mine away because I could never find the solid end after it shredded..
Did anyone test this out before putting out on the shelves? Utter rubbish of a product. Says they've done the hard work for us by being pre-perforated for ease? Honestly nothing has ever been so useless.
This is the worst cling wrap ever. Struggle with it sticking to itself. Doesn't pull off easy. I'll never buy it again. Purchased it because of its good for the environment speel ... absolute waste of time

Great idea but unfortunately, it is rubbish and a waste of money. It shreds as you try to use it. We couldn’t get any usable cling wrap from it at all. Show details
This is the biggest price of crap product to exist how do you cut it!??? 0 usability 0 utility 0 thought . Utter trash Show details
Difficult but worth it – I find the product difficult to use, but am determined to support the idea of compostable cling wrap. The lack of a cutter is an issue. Here in the US, Compostic wrap is wider than the standard wraps in my drawer. I had hoped to place it in my "reusable" Stretch-Tite box with built in cutter, but it did not fit. Can you make the wrap a bit narrower? Show details
No stars. Terrible, do not bother buying this – This has only got one star because the website wouldn’t let me give no stars. Couldn’t get any of it off the roll - all you can do is peel tiny bits off in little pieces, this is the second time I’ve had to throw the entire tool away without using any
Breaks down faster than an orange alright! – They're not lying about breaking down faster than an orange peel. I didn't even get a single use out it and it's falling apart. Well done repelling people from green products. This product should be discontinued. Show details

So bad I created a Product Review account just to post this – I've never been more frustrated trying to use a product. It is literally the Family Guy Saran Wrap scene. I'm glad it's 100% compostable because it is going straight to the bin! Show details
"100% home compostable cling wrap" is 100% unusable – Compostic "100% home compostable cling wrap" is 100% unusable. Goodness I spent so long trying to unwrap it and at no stage did I succeed, nor did my daughter with her nimble fingers, even after she got the scissors. I bought it over a year ago and just found it again in the caravan, brought back traumatic memories so wanted to check the… Read more
reviews. Why on earth are they still selling this product! I think we need to take it further the company and get refunds. I see it's now $5.95 but I'm sure I paid closer to $10 - and I bought several boxes of them.
Being green never felt so hard – I want to love it because cling film is terrible. But the decision to make pre-perforated lengths is THE WORST. I have to use more than I need, it’s impossible to see/tear. Put a cutter in and I’d probably not hate it so much. It melts in the microwave, which I could forgive if it said it on the box. A pointless environmental disaster – We have wasted 2 rolls of this product. As with previous reviewers, the product tears easily in the direction of the roll, leading to the problem of never being able to take a full width length. The second contributing problem is the complete lack of a tearing surface/edge… leading to the longitudinal splitting. As a result of these production and… Read more
design issues, its environmental credentials are void, the product is sent to landfill, unused, wasting all of the production and transport resources.

Most terrible experience in my life. The dentist was more fun – Absolutely useless. Shreds itself after a single use. I’ve tried 3 rolls all the same result. Leaves one infuriated as you try to avoid tearing it lengthwise which is impossible. Then the whole thing becomes a nightmarish jumble. I can’t remember ever being so angered by a product for its sheer stupidity. I guess at least I can compost the entire… Read more
f*ed up roll but to be honest it’s straight into the trash cause i dont even trust it in my compost. Out of sight out of mind. Off to landfill with you. Why do I have to give it a single star?
A waste of money – I try to live sustainably so was happy to purchase this product. DON"T! It is rubbish. Right from the first use it has torn along the length of the roll meaning I can't get a piece of it to wrap around anything. You can't tear it off without the cutter. It won't cut with a knife. An absolute waste of money, it is going in the bin. I bought some of my old brand cling wrap this morning. Show details
tangled mess – I cannot for the life of me get a clean cut without a metal cutter...ended up with tangled layers of wrap and wil probablyl just throw it away and cut my losses if I can't get a clean cut... Show details
Do not buy – I was thrilled to see this in my local store. This was a waste of money. It was hard to get it started and then it ripped it off and it clanged to itself and couldn't get a good size sheet. I now can't find the beginning of it and it keeps ripping into thin pieces. What a shame.
Don't waste your money – If I could give a negative rating, I would. Far too thin and with impractical scoring to separate pieces, it's a total waste of money. Sadly those of us who try and use products that protect the environment are been conned by this product: expensive and useless. Show details
Bitterly disappointed – I am bitterly disappointed with this product, I think the concept of compostable cling film is a great idea, but this product in practice does not work. When trying to remove it from the roll it has just torn into unusable strips. I have had to throw it away and will not be using this product again. Show details
World's most useless product – Cling wrap with no cutter is useless. Most frustrating is the pre-perforated strips which don't work and the result is a cling wrap ball. Where can I get my money back? Show details
Beyond useless – The product cannot be easily removed from the roll. If you happen to nick a small hole - VERY easy - then it turns into useless strips of very fragile plastic. I had to throw the whole thing out after spending way too much time trying to use it.
Worst product on the market – Splits into 3gm widths. Cannot get a piece large enough to use. Beyond useless - frustrating! Don't throw it away as everyone suggests, take it back for a refund. If everyone keeps requesting their money back they will stop stocking it. Show details

Worst product on God's green earth – Not only are the perforations rubbish, the wrap doesn't have the mechanical strength to counter the forces required to break it off. It tears everywhere except where you want it to then sticks to the roll like kaa kaa to a blanket. Glad wrap may not be as environmentally friendly but at least it doesn't make me want to blow my own brains out. Show details
Terrible product , shouldn’t be allowed on shelves – Same as everyone else , just crap , the worst example of any kitchen product available , l could even get it to unroll at all , the importer of this Chinese garbage should fined for false advertising claiming it to be a cling wrap Show details
Rubbish - waste of money! – Impossible to roll out. Once the film tears it’s impossible to obtain a stretch of usable wrap. Mine slit across 3 narrow strips across the rolls. I can’t find how to make it back into a wide piece. The perforated edge doesn’t cut either. Threw it away. Rubbish product! Show details
Avoid as it is effectively unusable – We cannot get this product to work properly. The film doesn’t part easily so needs manual cutting NOT easy. It’s a great shame as we are keen on looking after our environment and minimising waste and landfill. Which is exactly where our partly used roll has gone as I have just wasted 15 minutes (and it wasn’t the first time) trying to unroll the wrap. Show details
Terrible waste of money – As everyone prior has said. it splits every time you want to use it. So frustrating. I wanted to use it but I don't think I can carry on with it. Wanted to give it zero stars but couldn't. Good idea that you can put it on your home compost heap because that is where the rest of the roll is going. Show details
Impossible to use – I would love to use a guilt-free cling wrap, but this isn't it. The film splits and tears lengthwise extremely easily, so every attempt (on separate rolls purchased at different times) has resulted in a mess of useless narrow strips, and it is almost impossible to get a full width piece. Show details
Useless – I have a 30 metre roll and about to throw in the bin - totally useless and shreds before I can cut from the serrated edges from the box. Do not waste your money. Its so disappointing because I like to try anything good for the environment. Show details
Unusable – I was very excited to see a totally compostable cling wrap on the shelf and willingly paid a premium price for an eco-friendly alternative to a troublesome product. Alas, compostic 100% home compostable cling wrap is completely unusable. It is very fragile and shreds at first use. Of a 30 metre roll, I have more than 29 metres I have been unable… Read more
to access. Those in our household have spent a bit of time trying to find the ends of the product but it is in thin ribbons of various lengths. Don't buy this. It's very, very disappointing.
