Comsol High Speed HDMI Cable - Ultra Thin

It delivers fast, stable, and clear connections with no lag or signal drop. The slim design makes it easy to manage and looks neat behind the TV. Excellent quality and performance
Comsol 8k 10m cord – I purchased the 10 meter cord, id also check certified vs non. While this parts unrelated to comsol, I'll just explain my experience dealing with previous HDMI cords. I purchased a 8k 10m cord from snowkids on Amazon(Amazon is hit and miss you can see my experience in my previous review) probably the worst purchase i had made(But i will give them points for build quality that dam cord looks military grade, but sadly not certified)while with this cord from consol I must say It seems certified however the build quality does not look good, even when I asked the guy at office works to open the box feeling bemused why the 4k cord (10m $69.95 was open)was military grade feeling mistified also why the $100 cord at 8k (10m boxed) seemed flimsy almost so assuming it felt like a phone USB cord, slightly thicker.(Something to consider)
But overall being what it is in durability it's quality output is very very high and has met my requirements.
Not sure if 10k at 120hz is a typo, but couldn't imagine how that would work in the commercial side(very curious tho)
Since the snowkids cord on Amazon lasted 3 days, let's see if this lasts... I believe so.
Update as of July 2024, cord still works, the cords hungry for power like a 4090 GPU power, or something.
(Would recommend the razer basilisk mouse it works also up to 10 meters wirelessly through concrete, pretty handy while unrelated minimal lag at centrecom, may do a review on it, what that mouse can even do, even connects to the Xbox and ps5 10 meters away, great pair, and pc, and laptop.)
Purchased in at Officeworks Physical store for $99.
Comsol 4K HDMI cable is ultra thin and works – Not all HDMI cables are made equal. I needed one for my old MacBook Pro laptop with HDMI and mini DisplayPort ports. Didn't want a mini DisplayPort cable given all MacBook Pro's use USB-C Thunderbolt nowadays. I do have a 4K HDMI cable but it is thick hence rigid and ends up straining the port at laptop end. This means itself could break and/or damage the laptop port eventually. Not a risk I can accept. Therefore, I was in the market for an ultra thin version, preferably >2m long so I can move about a little.
It is twice as expensive as the only other one available in store, that version is obviously not ultra thin hence not flexible, not that this one is made of flexible dual layer rubber jacket like professional mic cables. Its flexibility is attributed to its thin build. Anyway, I would rather pay more for something that works reliably and I can’t imagine the cost to fix the laptop port.
Budget cables and brand like Comsol doesn't come with a lot of documentation on specifications. It doesn't spell out what version of HDMI cable it is apart from ability to support 4K Ultra HD 2160p (3840x2160) @60Hz plus Ethernet support.
Specifications - HDMI v2.0 - 4K Ultra HD 2160p (3840x2160) @60Hz - Ethernet support - High speed bandwidth up to 18Gbps - HDR video support - Up to 1536kHz audio sample frequency
Happy to report it is working very well. Connection is secure and 4K works flawlessly with little stress on the connector given it is ultra thin and long length. I am still shopping for an ultra thin USB-C to USB-C thunderbolt cable for 4K. Appreciate leaving a comment if you have any recommendation. Thanks!
4 stars for this cable. Would have preferred it has rubber jacket for flexibility. Otherwise, somewhat cheaper, less than double the price of its sibling. That said, I am not helping since I voted for it with my money.
