Landfill – I put my finger over the straw and sucked and there was no leak so I replaced & tightened the lid. The newly serviced drink bottle worked for a few sucks but when I came back to it after a couple of minutes it was noisily sucking up air again & I couldn't fix it.  Show details

Nice but not functional – I bought one recently. It has air sealing issue. There is no way for air getting in when you drink so it is very hard to drink from. At the other hand sometimes when I push the button to open it, water splashes everywhere .It contains just water, not sparkling water! I did check online and found many buyers have same issue. Show details

Mixed review; cannot buy replacement parts in Australia – Ok. So these water bottles are great for kids. They don’t spill. We have bought nearly 20 of them for our family all up as we love them. Unfortunately our autistic son has a thing for chewing the spouts. Which, granted, is not Contigo’s fault. Easy, we thought, the rest of the bottle is well made, we will just replace the spout. Wrong. The… Read more

Australian distributor doesn’t sell replacement spouts. Rendering them useless vessels. I guess we will he swapping to Camelbak as they sell easily accessible replacement spouts.

Leaking after 1 week – This bottle started leaking after I brought it, although I couldn’t notice leaking right after the initial use, I assume that it was always leaking when brought.

Mostly happy – Miss 2 has a Camelbak eddy and a Contigo Striker autospout. I have a Contigo Autospout. Both the Camelbak and Contigo bottles have their pros and cons, but I find myself grabbing the Contigo more because of the spout cover and push button operation. The spout is also nicer and easier to drink from than the Camelbak bite ones. The whole unit just… Read more

feels nicely finished. The only downsides so far are that the seal keeps popping out of Miss 2's bottle, and it's a menace to put back in, and spare parts are non-existent in Aus. I did email Contigo regarding the seal, and they were super helpful until I mentioned I was in Aus, then I never heard from them again.

Spout stopped working after 3 months :( – Don't bother with this design, spout doesn't work after 3 months of usage, can't find any breakage, but it just sucking air. Very disappointed, and you cannot order/ replace lid in Australia, so the rest just gone to waste.

Leaking after 12 months and no product support – I purchased this whilst in the latter stages of pregnancy and still use it every day but am mindful to ensure it always stays upright. It is a sturdy bottle however the bottle started to leak about 12 months after purchase. I contacted contigo in Aus to see what could be done and I was referred back to the place I purchased it from. Given I… Read more

didn't keep the receipt, I was pretty annoyed, especially since I didn't expect a product failure so quickly.

Pretty sturdy drink bottle, provide hygenic spout cover, doesn't leak – Just bought one off Rebel sport about $20 for my kid (this is suitable from 4 years old +) I like it because all the other cheaper plastic bottles doesn't cover the spout, and if kids have dirty hands i think its stupid to have those hands touch the spout directly. The Contigo bottle has a push button (similar to those John Hinde personlised… Read more

name bottles that you can get from toys'r'us) except with the Contigo ones, the top is protected so less risk of breakage.

also I prefer the button approach is that kids don't have to "Twist" the top to open the spout, which prevents the kid accidentally twist the whole top off and leak water all over the bed at night.

kids don't have to bite the top open with their teeth (which if they do it too regularly creates protruding buck tooth).

anyway, best drink bottle on the market at the moment for kids ! (4 years old plus) . other alternative that I prefer is the John hinde bottles with the cap.

cheers Sturdy, good design, spout is protected so won't get dirty. easy to clean I can see one potential issue that if you loose the straw that is part of the bottle you will need to buy another one.
