More E20 errors than reads. Horrible. Do not buy if your health relies on it

TOTAL LET DOWN – Total waste of money. With blood sugar you need this reading to work when you need it to work, that's when your vision is going blurry when you're feeling like you're going to collapse when you suddenly enter a bad mood and you don't know why etc These are the events when you really need to know what your blood sugar is doing and when this device does not work, it is z TOTAL LET DOWN. It has only worked once out of 10 attempts since I bought the thing. Its a total frustration and waste of money. I don't have diabetes, I've had chronic hypoglycemia since I was a kid and to be able to monitor the blood readings now that I'm in my middle years is really important so I know if diabetes is actually approaching. This device has completely let me down. I would not recommend this stupid useless device to anyone. If I had my receipt I would take it back to store that I bought it from, live life pharmacy in coolum beach, but I don't, because I trusted that this would work. I can't believe that they sell health devices like that simply don't work I'm really appalled.

No test strips. Kit comes with everything EXCEPT test strips. Making it useless – Kit comes with hard to follow instructions, 2-step lancets which have to be loaded into a pen and NO TEST STRIPS. Frustrated newly diagnosed diabetics cant use out-of-the-box until theyve sourced the specific test strips. Please dont think youre getting everything you need in one kit. Just a heads up. Theres zero benefit to this brand over brands that offer everything you need in one starter kit. None. Except that its the free default kit given when signing up for australian national diabetes scheme So you dont get much of a choice.

Contour next one not accurate – I have Contour Next one and is not showing accurate results. I tested with other two different brands models one being AccuCheck Guide and other Lifesmart. Both the other brands were showing almost same results with 0.2 mmol whereas Next one was showing over 3 to 4 mmol difference. E.g with Next one I got 15mmol whereas with other two I got 11.1 and 11.0 mmol. I call Next one customer service and they told me to trust the device and I can't compare it with othe brands and if I'm not comfortable use the other brands. I have over 50 test strips with me with use by 09/2022 expiry and customer service wants me to buy new test strips. Test strips were always stored correctly. No help from customer service. I really liked this machine until it started showing wrong results. Very disappointed.
