This company is a scam. The unit works as a fan not an AC and the return policy is ridiculous. They just keep emailing back & forth and won't make it possible to return this hunk of junk. The power cord is only two inches long doesn't even reach any of my outlets. Do not buy!!!!
Purchased for $159.

Paid $175 and got a bogus shipping code. Once it did arrive it does not work at all. Not even a fan function. They asked for a video of it not cooling - you can’t film “cold air. Additionally they are giving me a significant amount of hassle. I believe this company is a scam.
Follow-up · Top three questions - what was the packaging like? Normal - what was the hassle like? 10/10 hassle. Does not work. - Did you try returning it? Yes, several emails where they made it clear they won’t take returns or reimburse without significant cost to return and no guarantee of reimbursement.

This site is a scam! I purchased a portable ac unit for $157.00 , after taking my credit card info, no confirmation email, nor order number. I had to send them 7 emails and received bogus order number and bogus tracking number. After 15 days of email communication with Justine from their customer care department, I finally requested a full refund, at which time, Justine replied that she could not find the tracking number she gave me10 days earlier and there is no order number related to my claimed purchase. No order details wer3 given to my credit card co. When charging my account!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!

Bought 2 units, both were faulty. Ask for replacements, received only one which was faulty as well. Bad communication with poor emails. Settled with a refund which was not fully. Very disappointed with the product and service. I do not recommend this company and product, don’t buy.
Purchased in for $249.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The split system air conditioner in my bedroom had broken down just before Xmas and, as it is a rental, there were no indications yet as to when and if it was going to be fixed. My sister pointed this out to me and I thought if this works it was just what I needed. I mentioned to two other people I had ordered it and was looking forward to trying it. It arrived just after Xmas and temperatures were 30+c through the day and not that much lower at night, so I eagerly opened the box. I set it up in the bedroom – roughly 3.5m x 4.5m ish. Firstly, the remote control didn't work.... Well – barely any cool air as indicated in their marketing and pictures. My fan $50 fan from Bunnings generated more cool air. Marketing material from their Website: “Air Conditioner & Heater is a highly regarded product for those seeking a versatile cooling solution. It offers 1800W performance, smart temperature control, and ECO efficiency, making it suitable for both summer and winter use. The unit is designed to cool any room within minutes, providing instant comfort even during the hottest days.” “Feel comfort the moment you turn it on. The CoolMate Portable 2-in-1 Air Conditioner & Heater uses advanced silicon heating and cooling technology to adjust your room temperature in just three seconds. No waiting, no noise – just fast, refreshing comfort exactly when you need it”
I had it on for hours! No impact…. Certainly not ‘no noise’ but I could have coped with that if it had worked….
I wrote to them and said I was not happy with the performance and wanted to return the product. They offered me a $50 refund for the $250 (discounted from $500) product and a new remote control to avoid the hassle of returning it. I insisted on returning it. I didn’t want to keep a product that ‘just doesn’t do what it says on the tin’. It is just as useless at $200 as $250 and I wouldn’t even give it away.
I then received an email attempting to manage my expectations: “The cooling experience comes from increased airflow and assisted cooling rather than fully transforming the air temperature in a large space in the same way a dedicated AC compressor unit would. It may not reduce the room temperature dramatically in a very large space (for example a large open-plan living room or high-ceiling area) as a high-capacity AC would. • It does not have the same refrigerant-based cooling cycle that many fixed AC units use (which extract heat from the air and exhaust it outside). Therefore, the “drop” in ambient temperature may be less dramatic, especially in hot/humid environments. • For best results, smaller, more enclosed spaces, good ventilation, and minimizing other heat sources help the performance.”
A drop in ambient temperature is not 'air conditioning'. I could discern no noticable drop - after hours of the unit being on.
I wrote back and again asked for a refund and was informed that I would have to pay to return the product to somewhere in Asia and it would have to be in original packaging and unused – as I had changed my mind.
I wrote back again stating I am returning the product as it did not meet advertised expectations and it will be used as I wouldn’t know it didn’t meet expectations if I didn’t test it.
I have not heard back in 4 days. Previously, fairly responsive. I wanted give them a chance to respond before posting this review. But .....
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Follow-up · Did it cool at all? Not really. Nothing more than cheap oscillator fan and no real change in ambient temperate. Is set up easy? Set up is easy but I had it in a table. How was customer service? Customer service was responsive till they realised I was not going to take a discount and wanted to return it. I have not heard from them since. Really - don’t waste your money.
