Fast, Functional & Fun RAM – I bought a 16 GB pack of the Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO RAM for a new computer and it is great. DDR4 3200 MHz speed for great performance when crunching the numbers, and low latency for gaming. It has built in heat spreaders for better cooling, as well as integrated RGB lighting along the top. The RGB is not really my cup of tea, but it does look nice I guess. There is a proprietary software package which can control the lighting on its own, however I am just using the lighting controller that is a part of the motherboard - no point in over complicating things right.

One thing that I hate about the RGB lighting in general is that it adds a whole heap of wiring to the case, which then has to be tidied up / managed. The RGB strips on this RAM don't have any additional wiring - it is powered and controlled by the DIMM slots for pretty lighting without untidy cables. If only all lighting was the same!
