Misleading advertising – This tiny can is advertised as being able to seal a shower stall, saving replacing all of the tile. I would need 10 or more of these tiny cans in order to seal my shower stall. Definitely returning this tiny little can.

Did a great job on leaking shower in older home – Noticed a hairline crack in grout line for about 900mm in floor of shower in main bathroom but did nothing for a few weeks. Decided to check under house only to find the timber floor area below and around the shower was saturated. All sorts of dollar costs went through my mind like rip up floor, replace shower base and new tiles etc etc. A plumber mate suggested Shower Plug and after finding it in an odd area of Bunnings (you have to search for it) thought it must be worth a try. Followed directions to a tee like absolute thorough clean and removed the old silicone around the base where wall and floor tiles meet. Also scratched out about 3mm of the existing cement based grout and re grouted and allowed it to sit for a week. Applied the product liberally, wiped off excess and 10 minutes later another coat and wipe down. Left for a couple of days and applied the silicone around the perimeter and left for about a week. We now have no leaks and the wet area under the shower has dried out and saved us a fistful of dollars. Highly recommended!

Product was easy to use – Just need information about greasy feel left on floor tiles and flakey texture left on wall tiles after 2 full days drying time before being used

Easy to apply – My bathroom got a leak around the the base and joint at the bottom. I decided to visit Bunnings and they recommend this Shower Plug. The guy claimed it is effective for a few years if it is applied right. I clean the bathroom and allowed to dry over a few days. Then applied two coats; 5 minutes apart; as per instruction. Allowed to set 12 hrs and repeat over 3 days. Then I applied Silicone sealant. So far I did not detect any leak.
The Shower Plug came in two sizes, for a small bathroom 220mL was more then adequate.
