turned the system off making it unusable I eventually had to have a complete reinstall done. Good riddance I thought but it wasn't over yet. Two years later they hit my PayPal ac with a subscription renewal I had no idea was part of their contract, fortunately PayPal reversed it.
This company is the worst company to deal with. After 1 hour of the 3 day free period I cancelled my subscription. They got back to me soon after and confirmed subsciption. After they inundated me with emails from different people and I'm tired of reiterating my cancellation. I will dispute if they take a cent off me.AVOID THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE DESPERATE FOR MONEY

Deceptive – I chose this because I could buy "1 month" only. Service purchased kept being repeated as "Cyberghost VPN - 1 month" - INTENTIONAL OMMISSION OF "Ongoing" / "Recurring". INTENTIONAL DECEPTION
Directions on cancellation depicted on Cyberghost's support FAQ itself kind of works but it was not found easily. This is the only good point.
Most VPN locations are not true - many come up as UK locations instead. Many VPN addresses are blocked by some services like email.
Doesn’t seem to work for all streaming apps – Currently in Thailand and using CyberGhost to access my Australian streaming services. It works with Netflix, but not with Stan, Disney+ or Binge on either fire stick or iPad. Tech support took me through all options but none worked.

I called them a dodgy company. They responded telling me:
"We have a zero-tolerance against abusive, threatening, or insulting language be it racist, political, or religious. Continuing this way will result in the total termination of our communications and collaboration."
My correct statement of them being a dodgy company does not constitute abuse, I had already unsubscribed from them, and we had no collaboration. Either a very weird company, or just a very weird staff member. I am glad they tried to rip me off, because it stopped me giving them any money.

after a short period of non-use because I couldn't establish an internet connection. When connected the speeds were good. The customer service is pretty good and they were able to organise a refund on the cost of my annual subscription renewal when I had problems trying to activate a new dedicated IP (which they seemed unable to resolve) via the member portal dashboard.

Keep away !!! – Shocking technical support. VPN not working for 2 weeks and they seem to completely ignore it. They send me an email every 3 or 4 days and absolutely useless explanation. Stay away from this appalling service. I wish I didn’t pay for 3 years. Now stuck with a VPN that doesn’t work and they don’t care.

It spams popups! – If I pay money for a service, please don't use it to annoy me by popping up adverts to other things I don't want or need. Do not annoy the customers who have paid money to use your product. Such a dumb idea.

I found it good! – I have used CyberGhost 8 and have found it a good system. The VPN works well with no interruptions by anyone in Australia (government). However, I have found issues when I leave it connected to a foreign servers for a couple of days. They have a few add on services such as Privacy and AntiVirus that I thought were effective. The privacy recommendations were very high quality.
Scam!!! Stay away – Their software will corrupt your files and potentially destroy your device, they will never refund you and make you jump through hoops. Do not use this vpn !!!

Received email back advising no card details on file so wot go through. Sent another email to make sure. Money was then still taken for another 12 months so I had to go to credit card company and advise unauthorised fraudulent activity and request reimbursement. Do not trust these people with your payment details
Charged my card $300 after the first payment was made – Their program is faulty and bugged my phone, had to pay IT people to fix myphone and remove the app because the program is designed to ruin your phone. Then after all this i discovered they charged me an extra $300. [Contents Removed] CENTRE

Be careful if you use the PC client – First off mobile android app if fine, But my windows 10 PC random drops the connection due to the stupid kill switch you cannot reconnect. Nothing but buggy I regret moving off Express VPN. Their support is a joke. I was expecting alot more from their service. :(

some commercial TV channels for news and confirmed they don’t work even though CG was advertised to work for Australia, the only reason CG will give for no refund is out of 45 day period and CG refuse to answer why no refund when they advertised it to work and they have admitted it doesn’t, totally misleading and basically scamming company, avoid at all costs after researching CG further i have discovered most of the positive reviews are in fact fake. your GhostVPN permanently and there is nothing GhostVPN support can do about this. I have now asked for a full refund as GhostVPN were misleading as this important information was never advised nor stated by GhostVPN and was the primary reason for my purchase of GhostVPN. Then to be advised that there was nothing that support could do was unacceptable. GhostVPN is not practical nor useful.
