Crappy computer – This (lovely) peace of crap has started falling apart after just a few months the battery no longer charges. The hinges are flimsy and the screen bend. Dont get me started the pre installed things from dell take up needed space for school this computer frustrates me so much to the point i want to throw it out the window. I urge anyone thinking of buying a computer please dont get this one. Show details

The worst laptop experience I have had! – I had to get a laptop for school. I had to have at minimum, a Core i5, 8GB of ram and 256GB of storage, all features that this laptop has, making the experience in Windows 10 extremely responsive and snappy as long as you are not doing anything too heavy like video editing for example. However this is where all of the good things about this laptop… Read more

end. I have to transport this device between classes every day. I carry it in a heavily padded briefcase, but all four corners are chipped and scratched, the screen has moved out of place, the case is scratched and I (out of no fault of my own) managed to break the side volume switch, resulting in Dell help and support coming to my house to fix it. This is because of the plastic case construction. This was also the thickest and heaviest laptop at this price point, making it a little harder than expected to carry, but I could still live with that.

The laptop is hard to use in anything but normal laptop mode (tablet, tent, stand), because of the weak screen hinge and the size of the laptop. Do not think of this as a replacement for something like an iPad. I was also surprised for the price that it didn’t come with a stylus for drawing and note taking, which was another additional $100 purchase, only for me to never use it! Such a waste of money, making this feature merely a show-off to your friends style gimmick.

Here is a list of other minor complaints:

- Lack of USB C

- Heaps of Dell pre-installed bloatware, including McAfee Security

- After 9 months of use every day, the battery is starting to wear out

In summary, this laptop is quite fast, but not durable at all and 2 in 1 mode is awkward to use. I regret purchasing this laptop, and would give everything to get a refund. Steer clear of this laptop at all costs!

A fast boot up for a handy 2 in 1 laptop – Hi, I have the 13 inch with Intel 8th gen processor, I5, 8 Gig RAM 256 Gig SSD drive. It is a fast responsive machine with touch screen including stylus compatibility. Battery life is okay for moderate use and better than my 5 year old Toshiba. Scrolling is smooth and switching between tablet and desktop modes is quick. Face recognition unlocking… Read more

is excellent. The keyboard is okay with individual keys that have short travel and feel plasticy. Connection is quick and smooth when on wireless. Bluetooth is included and finds connection quickly.

I recommend this.
