Excellent display, nothing to complain even after 8 years of constant use – I have purchased this display (the 2407WFP-HC, not sure if the HC makes any difference) for $999 from Dell Australia in 2007 and have been using it almost daily for just under 8 years now. Compared to some more modern monitors the frame and bezel may look a bit on the clunky side, but the build quality is great. The backlight has not noticeably diminished and there are no annoying brighter or darker spots in the display, as well as not a single dead pixel.

All in all I could not have hoped for a better display and hope it will serve me well for another couple of years.

Good – Great monitor. One of the best I've had. The picture is bright and no colour distortion no matter which angle you look at it from. The resolution is higher than full HD which gives you that little extra heigh than most normal 16:9 monitors. It can be rotated 90 degrees to be used in the portait mode which is good for reading documents and surfing the net with long web pages. The only bad thing about the monitor is the cheap buttons which failed soon after my warranty expired. Big screen, high resolution, clear picture, bright colours. A bit on the heavy and thick side. The buttons fails quite quickly.

Excellent – This is a great monitor. From the moment you set your eyes on it. The style of the monitor itself is very attractive. The screen is very large and uses a high quality S-PVA panel that displays colours very well without colour shifting when changing viewing angles. The response rate is fast so watching viedo or playing fast moving games is not a problem at all as there is no blurring.

The 2407 has little input lag unlike the newer version which does. If you can get a second hand 2407 I would definitely get one. Great looking monitor with a very high quality panel. Get one! The unit we received has a common problem with the on/off switch breaking down and will have to be sent away under warranty.

Good – I have experience with about 20 monitors, both CRT and LCD. This is definitely the best I have experienced. Great build quality. Just can't fault it Good clean lines, good geometry, no sore eyes

Excellent – What can I say? If you need a 24" screen, there's none better. Just keep an eye on dell.com.au and wait for a good price. Good size, resolution, beautiful clear picture, smooth controls, range of inputs, nice styling. The unit gives the impression that it's a quality product. This is a screen I expect to keep for many years. Not a lot to complain about - the only issue I can think of is Dell's propensity to change the price. I've seen it varying from $1199 to $799. I paid $850 for a package including a mouse and headphone. You can't just walk into a shop and buy it - you have to wait ten days or so for delivery (no instant gratification available!)
