I was advised that this would not be covered under warranty. For a monitor in this price range, I would reasonably expect it to withstand normal positional adjustment without catastrophic failure.

As a business owner who relies on reliable equipment daily, this outcome has been disappointing. I would have expected either goodwill support or further investigation into what appears to be a structural or hinge-related failure.

I hope Dell reviews this case and considers how situations like this affect long-term customer confidence.
