Dell Vostro 3750

Regretful product – I had high expectations about Dell. but I bought this vostro only to find that the laptop is too slow inspite of the high RAM memory etc that the company boasts of. I had a cheap Compaq CQ42 before. My 2 year old daughter has thrown it on the floor and it is still working. But this Dell feels so fragile and I dont think it will survive anything near incidents like that. It takes ages to load things up. I use this Dell only for my study purposes so I have not installed any unnecessary programs or downloaded any files other than my assignemntts etc. I will not buy Dell again.
Consumes a lot of time. Bought this laptop 3 months back. the only good thing is customer service, they are quick to respond to our messages etc. But hey, what is the point of customer service if the product does not work properly? Customer service Too slow, fragile key board ( 2 keys - the appostrophy key and the slash key are already not working, bought the laptop 3 months back!!!)
Wonderful – Was shipped quickly, but a very good deal online of $1700 with $500 off meant I couldn't upgrade anything as it was all pre-built, but it does everything I thought I wanted and more!! Easy to use, quite light at 3.5kg (my old inspiron is 3kg), has 17in screen and full size keyboard. I cannot fault this machine at all, its tons faster than my old inspiron and I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade but I'm glad I did. great deal for a great laptop
