My Desley Clavel is now 4 years old. It has been on 3 round the world trips, 2 trips to Japan and several domestic trips since that time. It has seen a lot of wear and tear rolling across cobblestones in Europe and being tossed around by airport luggage handlers. I have nothing but positive things to say about this case. It’s lightweight when empty, zips and wheels have never failed me, TSA lock has bent one of the sliders however it still Functions just fine. I check and clean the wheels after every trip and give the outside a good scrub before packing away. I’m now in the market for a wheel aboard spinner and I won’t look at anything other than another Desley Clavel.

Almost perfect – The Delsey Clavel 70cm hard case is a great buy. I took it on an 8 week overseas trip this year (2024). The suitcase endured all the rigours of travel - airports, planes, trains, buses, ferries, being pushed, pulled, sat on, wheeled over cobbles and stones, sand, dirt and concrete. Positives - the four spinner wheels are a clever invention; I could never return to two wheeled suitcases now. - the hard but malleable case - the option to unzip and expand the inner space - the mesh pocket under the lid and the space underneath the mesh pocket - the combination lock option - the built in luggage tag - the soft handle

Negative - when the suitcase is opened up and is laid out flat, although well meaning, the mesh pocket unzips from the middle of the open suitcase. This is fine if you can open the suitcase completely but not fine if you want to reach into the suitcase without opening the whole zip to grab something.
