$$$ saver in winter, great cooler in summer – the only issue i've had is with the Full Tank error, even when you drain the tank fully and clean the air filter the machine wont re-start. I've found tilting the machine towards you 25 degrees corrects this issue, i suspect theres some residual water suck around the sensor even after draining, tilting the machine seems to move this pool of water… Read more

along and clears the error code. I should take away a star for this suspected design flaw but I love this portable so much that im going to overlook it.

portable air conditioners in general are a bit crap unless they have 2 dedicated hoses for both intake/exhaust but sadly here in australia we don't have those type of portables due to incompetent regulations

at any rate this devanti is the best ive used, quiet (for a portable), powerful and efficient (for a single hosed portable)

energy bills more than halved during winter after ditching my radiator heater for this thing

Not happy Jan – Heavy and bulky to move around , awkward big hose that goes out the window that feels like I going rip , showing full tank on screen when it isn’t and can’t get the unit working again. It cools ok when it works ! No definitely not happy with this purchase at all.  Show details

Good product at a competitive price – I have had the air conditioner for 3 weeks. I have used it only 3,4 times because the weather wasn't hot but I was satisfied with the product that I have purchased. Before I bought it I've done a lot of research and read a lot of complaining about the noise of the mobile air conditioner (in general ) and I was a bit worried. But after using I… Read more

found that it was not too bad (of course it was not quiet as the split air conditioner counterpart but when you consider its price and the convenience of the mobility then it is worth the purchase. Quite easy to install was also a bonus

Terrible – Does not cool a room, and after 2 days all it shows on the screen is FT for full tank. even after its been drained. When trying to cool a room, the heat generated far surpasses the cooling created, so your small room will be heated instead of cooled. Buy a different brand  Show details

good for small room – I live in a studio and in hot days (I mean more than 38 'c ) it just cool the front of it not more! but in 20 to 30 degree it works fine! it is so noisy and not good for nights because you need more silence to relax!  Show details

Best built portable – This unit is a fantastic, well built and is a strong refrigerated portable air con. I have been so happy with it, it definitely cools down a large living area, with a stair case going up, leaving plenty of room the air to escape. Despite this, the unit can meet the set temperature and I always leave it on around 22c. The best part about this unit… Read more

in comparison to others I have is that the exhaust hose is better quality and not much hot air leaks out into the room.

To add, the way the vent is made is even better, it allows a better and equal air flow across the room. Again this is a bonus to others.

I really recomend this air con, it is worth the price!

Portable air conditioner – This air conditioner is very helpful especially in Australia's summers. It cools very quickly and easy enough in operation. But it weights nearly 30 kg so moving from room to room isn't an option.  Show details
