ridiculously expensive and I should not have to pay for it.
So I am not happy !
*Some fans have rusted completely over the outside finish, very soon after being installed while others are showing the start of rust over the outside finish.
*The plastic light covers are very flimsy and pop off, with one cover falling to the floor and braking, near where we were sitting and others popping off thank god onto soft furnishings.
*The parts of one of the ceiling fans have probably rusted internally ... don't know and I should not have to pay the electrician to come out again !
I’ve had two of these black fans with wooden blades 52 replaced under insurance. They have been back three times with two replacements of the brand-new one that was fitted because the fan is so noisy and when they followed up on the warranty they were told there’s nothing wrong with it. it sounds like the bearings are dodgy. We shouldn’t happen if it’s brand-new so I think it goes back to original manufacturing problems.? Show details
Unsatisfactory Customer Service – The fan was purchased by a family memeber in November 2021 and given to us. They only contacted us via email from the afternoon onwards and looking at their sentence structure and questions its quite apparent they have no idea what we want. I am an older person and have found the experience exhausting. I will ensure that no Devanti products are purchased again for us or by us as I can't deal with them again. After four days (today is the 5th day) we are nowhere nearer getting the LED module. I have searched online and while there appear to be many different LED modules none of them come close to what we have. It culminated yesterday with them sending me a copy of the manual, asked me to identify (by marking the manual), the name of the part, the picture of the part and provide the part number. FYI the part number is written in 6pt or less on the extreme edge of the module and we didn't find it until we took more photos and blew them up. I should also tell you that our LED module is still attached as our grandson was unable to understand the wiring. Now I wait. This is a nuisance as I live in a granny flat and this is the main light source.
Waste of money – Rubbish fans. Stay away from all of them. Bulbs are not replaceable

Frustrating light feature – The fan is nice looking and does its job. The light feature is ridiculous and should have been clearly advertised on the site/packaging. When you turn the light on, it has THREE settings. That sounds nice right? Options! Well, no!!! When you turn it on, it comes on in 1 of the 3 lights 'colours'. light tones to find the one you like. But then when you come and turn your light on again, you have to start over again. It won't stay on the one you like. So the first time you come in it may be cool white. Turn the light off and walk out and when you come back in and turn the light on, it's warm white. It's actually very frustrating and I'm so annoyed I purchased these for my house and didn't know about this until installing them.

Bit of a disappointment..... LED light can't stay set on desired colour – Purchased this ceiling fan via E-Bay from oz.plaza in January 2022. Thankfully, very cheap at $103.95 posted. Never got around to installing it until Dececmber 2022. The Electrician who installed it could not find a way to have the LED light stay on a selected colour via the remote. It goes from "Daylight" to "Warm White" to "Cool White" each… Read more
time you use the supplied remote control to turn the light on/off. There is no way to set it to come on as "Warm White" each time. After contacting Devanti directly and jumping through hoops to prove that I was a real buyer of their product, they inform me there is no way to set the light to the colour you desire EVER! What a stupidly annoying feature. Can you imagine buying a light from Beacon Lighting and this happen? A colour change each time you use your light? The fan works well, if a bit noisier than the last one it replaced, but will never buy one of these ONLINE fans again. Need to see one in person to hear and see them in action!
