Solid, sturdy Site Radio – Bought this as xmas present for my son. Great sound, antenna not great but passable. USB charger and 2 bonus power points make this a very useful site radio.Bought an 18v 4amp battery, much better than 1.5amp XR 18V battery. Remember to charge batteries regularly as they hibernate otherwise. Max volume setting of 30 is very loud yet quality is… Read more

the start the radio reception has been very bad and this is heavily degraded while charging batteries. I can be standing next to the radio with clear sight of the radio station antenna and still have bad radio reception. It does seem to charge the same as my other Dewalt chargers. I tried to take it back but I was not allowed and instead it went for repair. The repaired sent it directly to Dewalt. According to the repairer, Dewalt repaired the radio but didn't know what was done. It is exactly the same. I contacted Dewalt customer support but as seems to be usual now, nobody returned my call. Please save yourself the trouble. Don't buy this piece of junk.
