Non-consensual 45-minute sales pitch on a range of providers that they clearly get a commission from… Massive red flag that I can’t physically see the numbers, but they need to be robotically read out to me. Baffling that the only way to arrange internet is to use a callback…

Even weeks after I’ve moved, they are still calling me, asking to connect my services – something I had already handled on my own. This raises serious doubts about the legitimacy of this company and whether they are even capable of providing the services they claim.
To make matters worse, they bombarded me with offers for unrelated moving services, which I never requested. It felt more like a marketing ploy than a genuine attempt to help with utilities.
I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Their lack of professionalism and focus on upselling makes them more of a hassle than a help. Look elsewhere if you want reliable service.

After-sale service is also great. I am very fussy about things as you can see from my other reviews, but cannot fault these guys. Well done. We will recommend with 10 stars but only have 5 to choose from.
I can see that some recommendations/reviews do fail (like for me it is Southern phone), but this is not your fault. We were given a few choices but we chose Southern phone. Direct connect still assisted us as much as they could but in the end, the responsibility is on the service provider and us. I should have checked product reviews for southern phones.

Been left without hot water or electricity all weekend after moving into a new house when they said everything would be turned on by the Friday and we had to move out by Sunday. After spending Friday night and all day Saturday moving. I rang them multiple times and they did nothing to help me and my family. All they… Read more
offered was to stay at family or friends house for the weekend which isn’t possible with a 5 month old. Having the work remotely on the Sunday was impossible and has affected my ability to do my role. Now have a fridge freeze full of $100s worth of bad food, and no guarantee when power will eventually be connected.

Poor! – The process was not easy. Consultants were difficult to hear and understand. (I am a little hard of hearing and the heavy accents and speed of speech made it unpleasant. It took numerous calls to carry out the change and details were hard to find. When I did eventually get to a stage of the transaction the reading out of lengthy details were difficult to follow, particularly as I had to repeat many details already given.

The worst experience – I can't even give 1 star ..because right now I am supposed to be in my new house where I moved to ..I moved everything from the old property to new one. my gas and electricity connection was supposed to have it connected today as the 7th of June 2024 as I requested .. around 4-5 as there were no connection I rang them and asked what's going on… Read more
then I was told the time frame is from 7 am to 9 pm... I was bit worried as it was getting dark early ( winter ) no connection till 7 pm rang them and I was on the phone over 1 hours ..they had no idea what's going and and said they can't contact the provider as the offices are already closed . I have paid for removalists and moved all big items after 5 pm.. as it was too dark tand no electricity they had to leave everything in the garage .. and we waited till 9 no connection me and my family had to come somewhere else to spend the night and sleep leaving everything at the new property... this is the worst experience move in I had I have an elderly person living with us and had to take him up and down looking for a place for him to stay ...I will not recommend anyone to go through direct connect ..

go back to work . It should take just 10 minutes (what is actually realy long) but it take over 56 min almost 1h to finished this setup . I will never ever recommend this service from Direct contact and will make a Video of this in my My Social Media Channels and make this online how difficult and hard and very annoying it is to do this connection OLD TIME on the Phone !
