The owner of this company consistently lies to you from the day you sign the contract. I was promised a 5 month build and I am now at 13 months and left homeless, all the contractor's have quit working for him. He has no customer service or communication. He is never in the office and does not reply to emails. It's a disgrace.

This guy is a scam. DO NOT go near him!! He has had multiple companies go into liquidation and is taking money for modular homes and not completing them. He is putting everything into a solar battery company which is next door. Look up the owner of Dream Modular and research him.

I was originally promised a 12 week turnaround for my modular home to be completed. My home was delivered to site, and since then no further work has been carried out at all. Weeks have passed with no construction progress and no communication unless I constantly chase for answers. Despite multiple emails, phone calls, and even issuing a formal notice requesting an update by a set deadline, I have still not been provided with a timeline, completion estimate, or any clear information. The builder repeatedly promised to “get back to me” and never did.

The most I have been told is that they are “waiting on confirmation” about the external cladding’s fire rating, but even after that conversation, they failed to follow up with any update or plan moving forward.

Because of these delays and broken promises, I am now facing the real possibility of being left with nowhere to live with my young son over the Christmas period, despite planning everything around the contract dates and the 12 week completion timeframe.

This entire experience has been stressful, unprofessional, and incredibly disappointing. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering Dream Modular Homes to think very carefully before signing a contract.

Update: 10th February 2026 The home has now been sitting on my property for over 4 months with NO works at all completed to finish property. Zero timeline provided for remaining works to be completed and zero communication. I call almost every day with no answer or returned call.

We chose Dream Modular Homes based on their promise of a 12-week build time. Unfortunately, we are now 11 months into the process and our house is still not complete. Communication has consistently been poor. There were multiple errors during both the design and specification stages, which caused delays that could have been avoided with better attention to detail.

What was supposed to be just a few days of on-site work has dragged on for over two months with minimal visible progress. When questioned about delays, the owners claimed the engineer took three months to approve the plans — however, after seeking independent advice, we learned that this type of approval normally takes only a couple of weeks.

We entered this project with excitement and trust, but instead have been left frustrated and disappointed. I hope sharing this helps others make an informed decision.
