Great cleaner, very frustrating to use – Does a good job of cleaning the toilet and smells very nice and fresh, but incredibly frustating to use with the nozzle. it retracts every single time you place it under the rim, meaning you have to manually pull it out, usually multiple times per toilet clean. Show details

great cleaner, but, not good for septics – Cleans well, smells fresh, but does say 'antibacterial' in small print, so therefore not too good for septic systems. Have been advised not to use 'antibacterial' products in septic systems by the septic servicemen. Show details

not user friendly – I purchased this product because we are on septic since last moving house. It is ok as a cleaner, but when the nozzle that goes up under the rim of the toilet is also the top of the bottle and you just pop it up to open. So it invariably closes itself while you're swishing the bowl and then you have to touch it to open again! As if cleaning the toilet isn't grotty enough!

Amazing product – This liquid is amazing.... So amazing it's hard to believe it's also helping the environment. It smells fresh and clean even though it has a 'big' job to do.

Best product – Absolutely love this product. I have been using it for many years and is the best toilet cleaner on the market. I had a bad rust stain down the back of the toilet bowl and nothing I tried would remove it. After a week of applying this product everyday the stain was gone and does not return so long as I use this product at least once a week.

Don't use if you have a septic tank, it will disrupt your system! – This product claims to be septic safe. At the same time it claims to be antibacterial. These things are mutually incompatible. So, if you want to risk your septic system failing with rapid accumulation of sludge, and are happy to pay to have it pumped out more frequently than it should be - then, go ahead poison your system with this stuff. After reading the label, I used it as a weekkiller - quite effective - and the soil will recover quickly! I am also looking to replace all my Earth Choice products with something more honest - I no longer trust them!

Low Price, Decent Cleaning Performance – After using this product the toilet bowl is nice and shiny! Earth Choice Toilet Cleaner has a pleasant fragrance. If I had to think of a negative, it would be the "cap" it is a little easy to close while applying it to the rim.

It does it's job – The smell isn't overpowering but it gets rid of the odours and stains. Not as thick as the other cleaners in the market so I end up using much less product for the same results. Great buy, good value for money.

Another dagger in the heart of the multinationals – I bought this one for the first time after reading the reviews here. It was $2 at Woolies so it was about half the cost of that famous toxic cleaner. Does it work? Yes, at least as well as the multinational. Why would it be on the bottom shelf, far away from the "popular brands". Well your guess is as good as mine. Maybe this one isnt seen in high rotation commercials on television. Excellent product – We had previously had superb results at a more than competitive price with Earth Choice products we decided to try Earth Choice Toilet Cleaner. Again, delighted with the result, environmentally friendly, and usually way cheaper than the 'big name' brands. Earth Choice gets our vote for laundry, kitchen, household cleaning, and personal care products. Seldom buy any other brand these days.

Removed stubborn stains! – After years of using other brands with chemicals in them in my toilet in an attempt to remove a stubborn stain in the bowl I decided to try earth choice. cleaner, one light scrub and the stain was 100% gone. Never going back! Great value, nice smell and very effective. I have never written a product review before but I was so impressed I just had to share my experience. Give it a try! No chemical smell, very affordable, works better than other more well known brands.

just run down the sides. Environmental friendly! it is affordable and works well to give a good clean. It makes the toilet smell clean and fresh after and gets those "skid" marks off. The spout could be better to get under the rim of the toilet

Yet another good product produced by Earth Choice – Generally speaking earth choice produce some great products. This being one of them. It works. Simple. And it's cost effective. One of the cheapest on the market. Only thing I don't like about this product and other earth choice products is there so called 'Green' claims. You haven't got me convinced!

Good – I think this is probably the best of the septic-safe toilet cleaners. However, don't get confused by the name as it is not actually chemical free. It still contains things that are harmful to the environment so if your worried about that just use some bicarb and vinegar. Does do a good job. The toilet isn't as sparkling clean with this product as it would be with some harsher cleaners, but for those with septic tanks I think this is as good as its going to get.

pretty good. It is lightly scented and only a little bit of scrubbing is needed. If you leave it on for a couple of hours, and then just flush, it leaves the toilet pretty clean. I don't have anything negative to say about this toilet cleaner.

Good – I would buy this again except for the dodgy nozzle design. If you invert the bottle the nozzle closes. And cleaning the dunny means inverting the bottle. I'd have to put the bottle upright and open the nozzle about three times per loo clean - no big problem but certainly inconvenient. Cheap, effective and green (environmentally friendly). Got the dunny clean and no overbearing fragrances etc. Cheap and effective. Nozzle closes itself when inverted so inverting bottle to squirt product under rim of loo is a total trial...
