Chilled water function works spasmodically after only a short time-finally disconnected it as too much of a problem. Also the interior shell of the fridge has multiple horizontal cracks through it. wasnt cheap so quite disappointed really Show details

Worse fridge ever – We brought the freezer and fridge together and realised when we got it that the size was different. The height and width . We called an Electrolux tech to come and investigate as to why we have to odd fridges and his answer was basically the way they were built by hand is that they can’t get them perfect so too bad basically. Even with all our… Read more

leveling and moving it to try and get it to look half good was still bad. So embarrassing when friends come over and see it, cos everyone ask why they are different cos it jus looks stupid and to think we paid all that money for it. The inside drawers feels so flimsy and the light doesn’t always work when opening fridge. Worse fridge ever and the price on it makes it ten times worse. I’d stick to Samsung if I knew this from the beginning.

Excellent – We replaced our Electrolux Fridge/Freezer with this 501L all-fridge as we needed more actual fridge space. It's quiet, efficient (3.5 star) and has plenty of different storage areas to cover our needs. Fitting the door handle is a 1 hour job as it's a fiddly arrangement but the delivery guys did that for us but otherwise there isn't anything to… Read more

dislike.

The door has a handy 'stop' position when about 1/3rd open and the LED lights are way brighter than the ones on our old unit plus it has an alarm if the door is left ajar.

The exterior surface is easy to clean; resists marks and although we don't have it plumbed into the water circuit, the water filter is easy to access and change.

Enjoying the energy effiecient, spacious fridge! – I never wanted to purchase a fridge this expensive but this ticked all our required boxes. The only 'fault' is the lower draw slide mount wasn't installed correctly in the fridge. I've fixed that. The fridge has a great combination of draws and shelves. It is relatively quite and doesn't run as frequently as any of our other fridges that we've… Read more

had. We've had it installed for 3 months now. The water dispenser is great too! Two things I'd like improved.... 1) Make them in Australia! 2) Have a L/H hinge option. Would suit our application better.

Works great! – I got this fridge last month while I was doing a Reno on my property and so far it has been great! It has maintained a consistent temperature in all compartments, has the perfect amount of space, 3 different drawers for fruit and veg and a beautiful finish. Would recommend.  Show details

Woeful support from Electrolux Australia – I reported an issue with the fridge to Electrolux Australia's customer support line on 11th March 2018. Whilst on hold, the operator contacted the local agent in Cairns and relayed the message that the contractor will call me to arrange a time to do a warranty repair. No need to bore the reader with the (4) other calls I made between Electrolux… Read more

Australia and the repair contractor suffice to say that I am still waiting for a repair a month later.

Think twice about purchasing this product because of the lack of customer care you will receive from Electrolux Australia.

Great fridge with some drawbacks – The fridge is an excellent size and coupled with the joining kit, makes a nice pigeon pair with the matching freezer. Easy to use controls and excellent visibility throughout. It was very easy to install and plumb in and the cold water dispenser doesn't take up any useable space in the fridge. I would like some more shelves included in the… Read more

price, particularly in the door.

Our first unit had some small cracks in the cabinet and Electrolux were great in swapping it over and installing the new one. I think it was a manufacturing fault.

The fridge itself makes an annoying rattly noise when close to another object. Unfortunately it is always alongside the freezer and with the joining kit you cannot move the fridge away to stop the rattle.

The holes drilled in the top of the cabinet to fit the joining kit are of poor quality - even the Electrolux technician could not put all three screws in.

So much room! – This is the most roomy stand alone fridge we could find on the market that had a filtered water dispenser. It has strong glass shelving not cheap plastic ones. The lighting in the fridge is led and it's very impressive. There is no wasting of space with large reservoirs for the water dispenser, it must be contained in the door or at the back? The… Read more

filter for the water is easy to access and change.

The only thing we have had a problem with is opening the door if we have shut it and need to reopen again in quick succession, the suction is really strong. It is getting better though as time goes on so I think it's just a new appliance issue that will improve in time.
