electrolux fridges cant even make it to 8 years old! Let me guess, cheap disposable parts so your fridge dies so you have to buy a replacement and maximise greedy corporations profits....shame i decked out my house in electrolux gear. Won't be doing that again.

weeks to repair and we have to pay for service, courier, rental of fridge & repair costs. It's bad enough having your fridge break down but it's worse when you get such bad customer service with all the extra charges. Never ever will we buy another Electrolux fridge. Our previous Westinghouse fridge lasted us for 15 years!! Shame on you Electrolux.

debatable. We placed food fresh containers within the fridge to keep the products fresher. Food lasts less than 3 days. Our spare fridge which is a third of the price and 3 times as old does a better job. Recently had an issue with the freezer ice maker. I contacted Winning Appliances Carringbah they have been totally supportive. Its seems like a had lemon. Since then electrolux . Have come to the party and have provided options to resolve. We are pleased with the outcome and will reconsider purchasing the new update version arriving at the end of the year.

waste of money – My Eletrolux fridge has had problems after problems. First it was the water dispenser, then the control panel, now the ice try is leaking resulting in the ice dispenser not working. Then there is the dispensed 'cold' water which is not cold. What a pile of rubbish. If it had not cost me fortune l would have left it on the side of the road for rubbish collection.  Show details

cool water system has cracked and cannot easily be replace so we no longer use the cold water outlet. All small things, I know, but the devil is in the detail and the details on this item have been a big let down.

Great fridge/freezer... when it's working! – Bought side by side fridge/freezer new. 3 months later the compressor failed. Warranty service person said it only needed regassing originally, then when he realised fault had to order new compressor. Whole job took 3 weeks. I work away every 2nd week and live in Perth CBD. days since I contacted Electrolux. One person who is only available to service the whole of Perth, once a week on Wed! I fly in/out on that day. Very poor service

Reliable product – Fridge has been reliable and hasnt missed a beat since new. Only issue was some small cracks starting to develop in plastic interior lining one month outside 2 year warrant. Electrolux replaced the entire fridge under warranty. Had to wait 9 weeks for new stock but a small price to pay considering the outcome. Thanks Electrolux, fantastic product and customer service. My faith in Aussie manufacturing has been restored.

More problems with Our ESE6077SC – First we had a rusty tray replaced and now the clock doesn't work. It's only about 3 years old and we can live without the clock but we shouldn't have to. We treat it wth care. Annoying.

Bought from Master Chullora on 3/1/2015, Missing parts and Electrolux shows no responsibility and wo – Bought from Maters Chullora on 3/1/2015 and got delivery on 5/1/2015, missing parts and the important part is the external water filter fitting kit, model ESE6077SF serial number 23522457, Electrolux rang back claiming that the serial no has been used before and i have to pay for the parts to be sent fro $100 or so. alos cause me a problem for the 2 years' manufactures' warranty if anythign happens during the first 2 years from 3/1/205. I have boutht the 3 years extended warranty with the Masters and the total warranty expires on 5/1/2020.

Do I need to approach the fair trading to get this solved for the manufacturers warranty?

2.5 years old, compresser stuffed – Yep, another unhappy ower, just out of warranty and compressor is stuffed. Seems to be a common problem, yet Electrolux are washing their hands of it. Pretty poor for a $3k fridge. Hopefully this tread will start to affect their sales eg people stop buying their fridges.

Do not buy an Electrolux its a piece of junk – Our first version of this fridge the alarm started going off every night around 1am, first we were told that we didn't have enough food in the freezer. outside the freezer. I am told that means it hasn't been insulated properly. So after many sleepless nights we got fridge replaced with new one.

Since we have got the new replacement it has leaked water from the chilled water dispenser door but then stopped, now it the freezer alarm goes of every hour, we paid over $3,000 for this fridge an it comes with a massive 12 month warranty, so they say i need to pay for a service call to stop it beeping, when the technician get here it turns out the compressor has gone on a less than 2 year old fridge. Meanwhile contents of freezer has defrosted and i am looking for a new fridge - beware of Electrolux

Update - 1 week on I received a bill from Electrolux today for the service call, works out at over $300 an hour to tell me that my fridge is stuffed, (compressor has failed) supposed to covered under warranty but doesn't stop them sending out a bill. Its now been almost two weeks without our fridge. Electrolux has offered over the phone to pay for return delivery of our fridge if i pay for the repairs. Be warned this is not an organisation that takes responsibility for its product failures.

Stay away from Electrolux – Bought the fridge second hand, but have the original invoice that shows it purchased 18 months prior. The compressor has packed it in already. it was working I liked it, but VERY expensive appliance for the amount of time you get out of it before it dies. Cheaply and faultily made. Not reliable product.

Poor quality and water dispenser does not cool – I am very disappointed. FIRST the water dispenser that you pay so much extra for, doesn't actually cool the water, so in summer it's warm (This is unlike all the other brands) - very DECEITFUL as it's a basic feature for over 20years fo this type of fridge. the freezer. The same thing happened in the fridge when an apple fell. It actually BROKE (smashed-in) the internal plastic, not just dinted it. Clearly the fridge is faulty and made on the cheap. I called Electrolux given I had the fridge for less than 3 months. They attended and claimed this wasn't under warranty. For a fridge over $3000, a small item falling in the fridge should not break it. Disgusting really. Have the ESE6077SA- Four years old (Bought mid 2008) – I have had this fridge for a few years now and it has not missed a beat. I love the fact that the temperature control is so accurate for the fridge and the freezer. before it freezes (times up to 20 minutes). The freezer works so quickly, groceries are frozen within an hour. The fruit and veges keep for a while with humidity controller (slide on drawer), smallgoods have their own compartment. the stainless steel finish is not easily marked. The glass shelves feel solid and don't bend under weight. After replacing many fridge door seals on old fridges, after 4 years this one does not show a sign of wear. The water and ice dispenser are great especially in summer. I love using the crushed ice in cool drinks and the cubed when I enjoy a scotch at night. After drinking the chilled/ filtered water I will never drink from the tap again. Reliable, the ice machine, great for parties, afternoon drinks. The 'eco/holiday mode' that reduces energy consumption. The four bottle wine rack is a great space saver. It can be a little noisy at times. But I also own a cafe with commercial fridges and they aren't exactly quiet. the water filter needs changing probably once a year. But after drinking the perfect temp filtered and chilled (not too cold) water from the fridge you won't drink tap water again. The freezer space is taken up with the ice machine and water dispenser. The tray around the water dispenser is showing signs of age with some very minor rust to the screws ( i could probably replace these).
