Electrolux fridge ESE6107SC a lemon – Cost of fridge $2780.00; was faulty. 2nd fridge also faulty. 3rd fridge broke down with gas leak 36 mths later, was repaired. Now again after 26 mths, broke down with same problem. Since globalization started, products are made overseas with inferior parts so they break down and you have to go out and spend more of your hard earned cash. Disgusting !!  Show details

Terrible Customer Service and Warranty – 6 months old fridge has a split in base of freezer , Electrolux accused me in an email of "drop damage" which I know for a fact nothing has been dropped on it. Rude and pushy Customer Service Rep. refused to listen and said take complaint to ACCC - Wow....worst experience ever and will advise anyone I know never to buy from this Company.

Electrolux believes cracks in the lining won't affect the function of fridge – Our fridge cost close to $3000, three and a half years ago. We bought an extended warranty which (turns out) only covers mechanical failures. When I spoke to Electrolux about the cracks appearing in the lining of our fridge, their response was "this happens on occasion, but apparently doesn't affect the functioning of the fridge and even if it… Read more

was within their warranty term of (2yrs), there would be no recourse". These forums give consumers information to make decisions - for us this response shows that consumers have no rights and products continue to fall below standard, no matter what the price was. This was an expensive mistake for us, which we now have to live with.

Very nice and good fridge – We purchased this side by side fridge about three years ago; I loved the look, it is very sleek modern look and looks perfect in our modern kitchen. But that is not all this fridge is, it is very quite great working as well. We had a few Westinghouse fridges previously and this was our first Electroulux purchase; I must admit this fridge is… Read more

better than I expected, not noisy at all and fits very well in open concept kitchen/dining/living space.

I would recommend this fridge to others.

My only wish is that I had more space to fit bigger one, but we have another fridge in garage and that helps a lot.

It was a bit pricy, but still in my opinion all fridges in Australia are overpriced… Great looking, easy to clean and stay clean, energy efficient, reliable so far (three years running), quite Expensive

Electrolux fails again – Very disappointing. Less than 3 years old and suffers a "system failure" condenser and gas totally gone. Luckily covered by the 5 year warranty on parts, but has still cost $400 in labour during repairs (plus all the lost food!) Soooooooooo not worth the money. Our second major Electrolux appliance to die before 3 yrs. Will never buy the brand again.

Terrible – Nice looking and well organised inside - but this does not at all make up for how loud and noisey it is. If you need a side by side fridge, choose another brand. If you really want this brand - you can have mine! This fridge looks great in my new kitchen and is well organised inside with good use of space with shelves and drawers. The main reason… Read more

I bought it is because I thought it was a better environmental choice and because everyone I spoke to and everything I read about the fridge said it was quiet. The fridge is extremely loud. We have tried everything to make it quieter - but it is just a very noisey fridge. It was an expensive purchase and I am so disappointed with it because of the noise factor and completely regret buying it.

great looking, quiet, solid fridge – This fridge has stainless steel doors and is quite heavy - a solid fridge is a good fridge. It's quite commercial looking which I like. There is heaps of room in the freezer and lot more door space in the fridge part than my previous Jennair. The wine rack is useful and there is a large butter storage section. It's very quiet and it looks great!… Read more

It also fits in a 900mm opening. It's the most energy efficient model I could find. I love the finish and it looks great. It was quite expensive but I'm prepared to pay for quality.
