Either goes up in temp, turns off or you just can't use the panel – Purchased this oven in 2015 thinking if I paid good money for an oven from a reputable brand, it would last me forever, have had nothing but trouble. When I open the door during cooking & then close it, it turns off saying "cooking finished" or it increases in temp to 250 degrees and I can't adjust it as the panel board freezes (which it does this when the door is open too). Very frustrating. Have had the panel/board replaced once already....

Purchased in for $3,500.

This is the worst oven I have ever experienced – I have the 900 touch screen wall oven and the 4th one and it’s playing up yet again. I’ve lost all hope of ever having a reliable working oven. The last one got so hot on the bottom Element That it turned bright orange and buckled the bottom of the oven. The others would not turn on or after many attempts, wouldn’t turn off. This one is just stopping mid way of cooking and same thing is happening. Press the on bottom and it won’t work. 4 years and 4 ovens. It’s really getting ridiculous. The las;t time I called I was told this is your second oven. Not true. This one lasted around 20 months and at over $3000 you’d think it would work loner then that.

Looks great, functions work, some design flaws – The oven looks great, for the price we were expecting it to be flawless. This was not the case. Positives are the size, it's one of the biggest wall mounted ovens on the market and can a lot of large trays. It looks very sleek. The touch screen give a very modern edge. Unfortunately on Occassion the touch screen freezers. The negative is that internally there are some design flaws. The telescopic sliding rails, although a fantastic feature, scratch up against the side walls of the oven and have damaged the catalytic liners. We have contacted Electrolux 3 times and they have been helpful. They have sent technichians out but this has only resulted in them ordering out new trays, runners and catalytic liners. Unfortunately this has not resolved the problem. We have had to take the trays of the runner and use the conventional tracks. We can still use it. However for the price we have paid its not good enough.

Update, Electrolux have replaced the oven after 3 call outs by the service techs. They have been fantastic, although still unable to determine if the issue is due to a fault or just poor design. We are experiencing the same issues with the freezing screen as before, this points to theory that the touch screen is not sealed properly and gets affected from the steam escaping from the oven. Hopefully they can fix this in the next update.

Update. The internal light in the oven blew within a few weeks. We didn’t stress too much about this as Electrolux was very prompt in replacing the oven. Unfortunately we are having more serious issues now. The touch screen freezes constantly and more problematic it changes the temperature, stop and starts the timer and turns itself off. This is a safety concern as for example the other day we had ribs slow cooking at 150 degrees Celsius and the screen froze and put the temperature up to 220. We could not drop it and had to turn the oven off completely. Now when you turn it on and select a temperature it starts at 188 and goes up in 8 degrees. I think it’s time for another replacement. Hopefully 3rd time is the charm.
