This is the worst piece of rubbish I have ever encountered. Electrosux!!!!! – The repairman has been out twice!! He said there was nothing wrong with it!! So in his world soaking wet towels must be acceptable?? Please do not waste your energy trying to get help as the service people aren't responsive at all.. Show details

Convenient – Convenient. Washing and drying programs have a wide variety and option. Although the drying isn’t too good. Drying for 2hrs results in half wet load of clothes so could be better. Show details

Great washer dryer – We have owned this for just over a year now but my wife does more washing in a week than some do in a month and I must say we cannot fault it. The wash quality is excellent, the spin cycle is really quiet compared to washing machines we have had in the past. Clothes seem to get a really good spin helping drying time. We have not used the dryer… Read more

Don’t buy this product – My unit lasted 2 years 5 months and then died. Light use. On reading other reviews it is the same fault that others have experienced. Start light flashes and machine won’t wash/dry or even do a spin cycle. Obviously this is a known fault. Zero help from Electrolux customer care. Was going to consider repairing but on reading others issues… Read more

will be taking it to the tip today and buying a new non Electrolux machine. Will be filing a complaint with ACCC. $1000 for 2 years use, you’ve got to be kidding.

Died after 3 years light use – Purchased for a 2 young adult apartment, only just light/average amount. After approx 3 years it breaks (flashing start/pause light, unresponsive button). Inspected by certified Electrolux repairman who said it could be 1 of 2 different faulty parts, however parts are no longer available only 3 years after purchase. I understand things do break, but a machine being unrepairable after only 3 years due to parts no longer supplied is unacceptable. Show details

When it works its great. Has broken down multiple times now all within 3 years – My combo washer has gone through servicing and most recently a circuit board replacement which has costed us upwards of 500 not including multiple call out fees. Overall it works well but I cannot reliably recommend Electrolux. as a brand. So far the machine has costed us: $940 - Cost of machine $150 - First call out due to leaks $120 - Third… Read more

party callout because Electrolux is okay with us waiting 2 weeks for their repair man. They couldn't fix it because it was ELECTRICAL fault. $450 - Call out plus replaced circuit board from Electrolux. We were told that because this exceeded the warranty period we bore all cost. Worth it?

How long will $450 repair last us Electrolux? Total cost to own this machine so far 1500+ for 3 years.

It is Good and some maintenance done – I’ve had the Electrolux EWW12753 for a while now, and it has been an excellent addition to my home. The washer-dryer combination works seamlessly, delivering great wash and dry results every time. It's user-friendly and efficient, perfect for busy households. The only maintenance issue I encountered was the need to replace the inlet valve once,… Read more

but that was a straightforward fix and hasn’t detracted from the overall experience. Otherwise, the machine has been very reliable and continues to perform brilliantly.

Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a durable, high-performing washer-dryer!

OK machine, but there may be better out there. Good service though – BAD: - Slow drying and uses a lot of power, but all combo machines are like that. - Capacity is reduced if not using the standard program. All machines are like that too. - Spills a bit of water eventually, specially if used to the limit of capacity (king sheets), with correct programs, and correct soap type and quantity. No way it washes 7.5kg… Read more

dry without spilling. Definitely not common to all machines... - Rotary encoder (the main button) started playing up with about 9 months of use. Replaced by service. - Drying heater stopped working after 3-something years of use. Replaced by service.

GOOD: Looks good and still looks as new after 3 years in use. Fairly well used, family of 4. - It is quiet - although makes some noise when drying, and spinning. - Other than the heater and rotary encoder it's been reliable and washes well - Electrolux service is good and on time.

The story:

3 Years and something in, it started having problems that are very common. I expected a free service with no questions asked, as I thought it was a manufacturing issue (drying heater stopped out of warranty).

Posted the review here, was contacted by Electrolux for a heater fix post-warranty, $150 service with materials included. While not ideal to have to repair a $1000+, 3yr old machine, gotta admit that the service was pretty good - good communication, on time, clean and precise, which is really something not very common.

Repair done, machine worked for 2 months - then it would not turn on randomly, or would only turn on to some of the button positions or programs, or would stop mid program and 'reset' randomly.

Got a free call out to fix it again as the last repair was very recent; rotary encoder was replaced again, although tech said it looked good and he didn't think it was the issue, and thus it might might crop back up anytime, and if it happened this time it would have to be taken to shop to examine.

So now I have a machine that works but might stop anytime for some unknown reason as we don't know the issue. Next time it goes having issues, it's going to trash, I will not spend 1/3 of it's cost to keep it working unreliably. Another perfectly good equipment that will pollute the world because of a combination of cheap components, lack of spares and lack of self-service manuals.

Again, not good enough for a $1000 machine.

Both issues I had at first, the drying heater and the button/rotary encoder going crazy look like pretty endemic of the brand. It's not even restricted to this model, seems to happen to of their driers and washers. Google has a lot to say about Electrolux EWW12753 and "drier cycle runs but no heat", "machine acts crazy", "rotary button does not work", etc.

Next machine is going to be bought based on power usage, durability, repairability and service. If I don't find anything that makes me happy then I'll go for the cheapest one and run it until warranty is out, replace and repeat. Someone gotta fill those landfills after all. Yes, it's irony, I hate it that we make so much trash.

And post your reviews here, doesn't need to be long as mine - I like to write - but gotta keep the manufacturers honest.

Great washer. Absolute pile of crap dryer – Works fantastic as a washing machine. I honestly cannot fault it. But as a dryer, it is an absolute nightmare. It shouldn't take three and a half hours plus to dry clothes. The washdry 60 function is a complete joke. Even if you're only washing a shirt and track pants, they are still Saturated at the end of the cycle Show details

Unreliable - great for first year or two then stops working – A great washer dryer when it works. Within a year of buying it the electronics stopped working correctly (mixed up wash cycles and settings). Was repaired under warranty, but a year later the electronics stopped working again, and according to Electrolux is no longer under warranty. A lot of money for just two years of use. Show details

Do not buy anything from Electrolux – Charged me for a warranty service and then never sent me the invoice and referred it to debt collecting and I only found out when the debt collectors called. Every time I try to call Electrolux it takes them ages to answer and this crap is still not resolved. Very poor customer service. Do not buy Electrolux products. Faulty Electrical – Washes fine. Drying is slow (takes about 3 hours to dry a load). After about a year circuitry began playing up, occasionally unable to select a mode properly, fixing itself after a day or so. Now just shy of 2 years, machine unusable. Can only select cotton run. Trying to run cotton won't get past half a wash done without having a fit and flitting through a bunch of modes. Junk. Show details

Do not buy this product – Washing machine has very limited options, seems to do what it wants. Dissapointed – I purchased the machine 10 months ago and all was Ok. I found the wash cycles too long and some cycles wash better than others. The issue I now have is that the program dial is now not working correctly. It wont register the different cycles as you turn it around. I have called Electrolux out to repair it as its still under warranty so we shall see if this fixes the problem. Show details

Love it – It’s quiet, washes great, the vapour wash is perfect for your delicate garments and the drier just adds to the convenience of simplicity. Having limited space in my laundry, it fits perfect. It also has a wash to dry function, which basically means, your clothes are wash then automatically dried, which is a great time saver.  Show details

It's fantastic! – For our small family of 3, a wash setting which takes less than eighteen minutes is enough for our laundry every week. The cleaning itself when matched with OMO washing powder is perfect. What shocked me however, was how quiet it is when operating. past, this one is almost silent!

Something to note for any buyers out there: The machine warns you to empty a valve in the bottom right of the machine every month or so in the instructions manual, however, unless your machine is not on the ground, to collect the liquid being expelled, you'll need a relatively flat container.

For $699 I could not recommend this machine enough!

Does the job – We have recently purchased this model specifically as we are living in a small unit with minimal space (especially because there is no laundry area). has a few positives as mentioned before but a few negatives come included. One of the negatives I have encountered is that you usually will have to halve your washed items to dry them making you need to do 2 seperate loads which can be quite a pain and also the machine is very loud whilst running. If you are paying water charges beware that this machine uses a hell of a lot of water 64 litres while washing alone and then uses an additional 52 litres when drying.

I don't love it I don't hate it I just use it.

not doing too badly – cleans clothes well, rinse is barely adequate as clothes seme a little stiff after washing and drying. cannot add an extra rinse to the cycle to remedy this. controls and door opening are very stiff, cannot usually open the door immediately after the cycle has finished and cooled down from 30deg wash/rinse. front loaders do not wear out clothes, and this is quiet.  Show details

Does a great job with my clothes – Since purchasing this washing machine has been great, I have done lots of different cycles and they have all been great. Washing Machine with Good Timer Function – I've been using an Electrolux Washing Machine previously for 8 years and loved it. easy to use , displays time, allows for timer function, and is much quieter than my old machine. The only issue I have is I used to use prewash and extra rinse functions on my old Electrolux machine to ensure all the soap suds were fully removed (always seems to be an issue with front loaders) , but this machine only has a prewash function not an extra rinse.

Space saving, and gets the job done – I've been using this washer dryer combo for 2 months and I love it. The only time I've been bothered by noise is when I washed a pair of sneakers in it. I live in an apartment, so it's not like I can be far away from the machine. I like the 60 minute wash and dry, but don't expect it to dry completely (although perhaps a had a little more than the recommended weight). The 18 minute quick wash is also useful, as is the ~35minute vapour refresh.  Show details

Love its fast wash option – Bought this washing machine from the year-end sale in Harvey Norman for $549 (delivered and installed). Enjoying it so Far – Still good and happy with the systems and functions after owning a top loader for 40 years. Fairly quiet but a bit of a high pitched wine on fast spin. Drying function does not steam up the laundry like standard dryers, no need to leave the window… Read more

open! Going fine for 9 Months now with no problems. To clean the washer filter though requires the filter housing to be drained into a very shallow tray (not provided with machine). It has to be done a few times to get all the water out before extracting the filter. Fairly simple to do but difficult not to wet the floor in the process. Some design improvement needed here. Maybe a built in drainage tray or at least a suitable purpose-designed tray provided. So still only 4 stars.
