Doesn't hold charge – I bought this less than 2 years ago. While it does a reasonable job, the big seller for me was the cordless feature but it doesn't even last a half leg now without running down.

Try another brand or model – I had an older model that lasted for years so brought another Emjoi. I returned the first one after 3 months as it wasn't holding a charge, now the replacement can't even get through half a leg before needing a recharge after 4 months. Pretty poor given it cost $120 rather than $30 which is what its probably worth. I'll be trying another brand soon. A dog.

Complete rubbish – This is big waste of money and poorly engineered piece of overheating plastic. It doesn't work, barely grasps and tweezers are a better option even. Does not hold charge, gets hot unlike my old Braun that lasted for years, looked odd but did a great job for a fraction of the price. Am disgusted.

Absolutely terrible – This really is terrible. I bought it to replace my first epilator (which was fabulous) and I never use this epilator, it is really ineffective and painful. I got rid of my old epilator when I bought this one, it was the big mistake. Save you money, don't buy it. I like that it's cordless Everything else

Good product - does what it should – This is the first epilator i've had - it was given to me as a christmas gift last year (2010). I've been using it once a fortnight / every three weeks since then and i'm very happy with the results. Like all epilators, it's going to twinge a bit when you use it - but if you're a waxer/epilator-pro then I'm sure this won't be a problem. I probably… Read more ·  2

wouldn't recommend it to you if you are a shaver - probably try waxing (by a beautician!!) first - doesn't hurt as much or for as long. It works well on the face, underarms and legs - not so well on the bikini line, and can't be used for eyebrows.

it's great that it's battery powered - much more portable / convenient. Battery life seems to be ok. Once 2 legs are done it generally needs a charge. It will be interesting to see how it is in another few years once its been used a bit more.

All-in-All: A good product. I happily recommend it to anyone looking to try an epilator. Batteyr Powered, Hand-sized (ergonomic), can be used on Lip, Chin, Underarm and other sensitive areas A bit expensive, will be good to see how long the battery lasts for after a few years of use.

Terrible – Don't waste your money on this unit. If I had to guess, probably designed by a man. They should test it out before putting it on the market. Fits in the hand easy. Designed by someone that doesn't use an epilator. The tweezers are somewhat recessed into the body of the epilator with the white edges raised higher than the blades. Means that the… Read more

blades are way too far from the hair. Next to useless. Useless on the face and underarm. Battery does not seem to drive the blades strongly enough. I have used epilators, many different brands for many years. This is not Emjoi's best unit. They have others that are much better. Emjoi is still my favoured brand.
