We have a Z6 Jura coffee machine which was leaking water. Though we had previous successful repair via Jura Melbourne, (replacing the ceramic grinder), we opted for a Sydney based authorised repairer, Espresso Connect Pty Ltd, Marrickville, NSW. We rang and confirmed they are an authorised repairer and dropped it off, paying an upfront "labour" charge of approx $130. Told the actual repair tech is in Canberra, & they'll send it down there, ringing when it comes back, about a week or two. The agent (male) indicated, Jura usually have kits incl "O" rings and there is a small plastic wheel (google search) which can crack under heat & pressure, which can leak. He estimated the cost of the kit at about $60-70. In any case, if the cost is likely to be greater, e.g. above $400 - he would call before going any further and give us the option to not proceed. We didn't get any calls and had to inquired where the machine was after approx week 3. Then upon getting the machine back, got invoiced for an additional $378.58. Making the total charged over $500. We never got the opportunity to discuss the "above $400" repair required or any additional fees & charges, which we were told would happen. Discussing by phone with the person from 'administration' about the failure of the business to properly advise us, as they agreed to, is disgraceful. The client service and ownership of their failure and lack of appropriate communication is a big issue. We could have sent the machine back to Jura Australia in Melbourne & had the repairs done there for less! Don't use Espresso Connect Pty Ltd, at Marrickville, if you have Jura Machine. Send it directly to Jura Australia.

Follow-up  · The initial labour charge of $130 was an upfront fee to cover approx 2 hrs (est), which the shop attendant advised was the avg usual time to open the machine, replace defective parts and reassemble. The repair took over 3 weeks, & when we rang to find out where it was (initially told it would take 2 weeks), advised it had been returned to the repairer in Canberra as it hadn't been properly repaired in the first instance. None of this information provided by them calling us to keep us informed. The fact they proceeded without prior approval for any costs above $400 (as they agreed not to), + the delay, + the failure to update or advise us, + their attempt to distance themselves from any responsibility, reaffirms our advice, - don't deal with them. Deal direct with Jura in Melb. Better service, the premium choice, and cheaper.

I had a fantastic experience at this coffee machine shop! The staff were knowledgeable, patient, and helped me find the perfect machine for my budget and brewing style. They explained the differences between models clearly, and Paolo went above and beyond to help me set up my new machine and show me how to make a good coffee at home. Great selection, fair prices, and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

A perfect experience when purchasing a domestic coffee machine – I was looking for a coffee machine as my ECM was unable to be repaired. I had such excellent support from Rino, George, Aaliyah and Paolo. There was no pressure and George and Paolo patiently showed me the options. When I chose The Quick Mill Rubino, Paolo made me a coffee from the machine, gave me detailed info sheets and explained everything about making a coffee. Everyone at Espresso Connect are courteous and knowledgeable about their coffee and machines. I am very happy !

Old fashioned customer service – I recently had my coffee machine serviced and repaired by Troy from Espresso Connect, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience! From start to finish, their customer service was top-notch. When I first reached out, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all my questions patiently. They guided me through the booking process and offered flexible appointment times, which I really appreciated.

Upon arrival, Troy was prompt and professional. He took the time to explain what he would be doing and ensured I was comfortable with the process. I was particularly impressed by his attention to detail; he didn’t just fix the immediate issues but also provided tips on maintenance to prolong the life of my machine.

What stood out the most was the follow-up. After the service, I received a quick call to ensure everything was working well and to see if I had any further questions. It’s rare to find such a commitment to customer care!

Overall, my experience with Espresso Connect was excellent. Their blend of expertise and outstanding customer service made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend them to anyone needing coffee machine servicing!

Top of the coffee pops. Expresso Connect Canberra – My (quite old) Jura Impressa F50 Coffee Machine died. It had been playing up for a while and I thought it could not be brought back to life. I was wrong. I discovered Expresso Connect in Fyshwick (ACT) and within two days I am back to drinking real coffee. George and Jakub are not only very coffee knowledgeable, their price is right and they fall over backwards to satisfy their customers. I could not recommend this company any more highly.
