I initially thought this set up was ok but have come to realise it consistently misses key events that were the whole point of getting it to begin with! missed who left the gate open where the dogs got out, misses the postie, missed the neighbour leaving a threatening letter! yet will get the rear lights of cars at night. all these cameras are set… Read more
up in the recommended/close proximity with high settings too! terrible clunky product. can't download videos easily either such as a whole day or week's content (have to enter & download individual recordings). so disappointing. who knows what else it's missed!
DO NOT BUY Eufy, THEY WILL FAIL ON YOU I purchase a 4 set from Bunnings which failed relatively quickly. After a full replacement from Bunnings, one of the second set of cameras failed. I went back to Eufy (Anker) and explained. I provided the original Bunnings receipt and the replacement receipt from Bunnings. Despite this, after a dozen… Read more
back and forths with their help desk, they advised that they were not able to track the purchase. Bunnings is one of the biggest retailers in Australia so if they cannot track purchases through Bunnings, via the original receipt then you have to wonder about their systems. After days of emails, the best they could offer, as they could not trace the original purchase was for me to go back to Bunnings and ask them to replace.
Not impressed at all, they pretended to care initially, but were totally incompetent when it came to actual replacement products.
Extremely Disappointed – Poor Reliability and Customer Support – I am deeply dissatisfied with my experience. All four of my cameras and the Homebase failed simultaneously after just two years, which raises serious concerns about product reliability. If the expected lifespan is this short, it should be clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Instead of offering a meaningful resolution or acknowledging… Read more
the issue, customer support focused on the expired warranty and offered a generic 15% discount—something that’s already available on their website. This feels disingenuous and does not reflect genuine customer care.
This experience has eroded my trust in the brand. I expected better durability and support, and I strongly urge the company to improve its approach to both.
Would not recommend unless you’re prepared for premature failures and lack of accountability
Was great while it lasted – I have had the Eufy 2C camera system at home and at work since 2021. Three years in and the wheels are coming off. One of the battery camera has lost connection range to the point where it drops out at 4m from the homebase. But the worst failure was the (somewhat expensive) Floodlight Camera. Was working great covering our driveway while it… Read more
lasted. Then the lights started flashing at night. Seems that is a known problem, but the only solution according to Eufy is: Throw away and buy a new one. I have seen reports that the newer models have the same issue though. Not sure if I want to wait for the rest of the system to fall apart before I replace it altogether. Is 3 years all we can expect for usable life here? In other words do we need to plan to replace a camera system like that every three years?
IP rating is a falsehood – Not built to specifications. This product is rated IP67. The '6' is supposed to be 'Full protection against dust and similar particles'. Well, that didn't stop little black ants (way bigger than dust) from moving into one camera and shorting it out. Eufy replaced that camera under warranty but never answered my query re the failure of the IP… Read more
rating. THEN, little black ants moved into the new camera and disabled that also. IP rating is not worth a cracker.
Brilliant, better optics than Swann wire-in cameras – EUFY products have consistently excellent quality. I had some Swann cameras wired in and they were useless, totally shocking for their 'IR' at night, and would often fog up, so I bought some of these 2C cameras with the home station and then bought another two to complete the set. Just get four and be done with it. Their optics are excellent… Read more
and I have never had the issues that I had with the old wire in cameras. The IR is excellent and if you follow instructions PROPERLY, then you will understand the system. It's very easy when you pay attention to installation and operation details. I love this brand because it is affordable, so we have just bought a robovac slimline in their range. Why pay thousands for extras people don't really need?
Eufy security cameras- very much a hit and miss product - DEFINITELY NOT A SECURITY SYSTEM – Bought this 4 x camera wifi camera over 2 years ago and this is to warn people that it really isn’t as good as I expected . I am now having to pay out more to get a hard wired security system as the Eufy system is not at all reliable for safety if that is what you are after. Started off well enough with easy set up but it is very hit and miss… Read more
with what it actually picks up. I had it in the highest settings to pick up people or activity in my selected zones and most times it didn’t even pick me up walking on my driveway. Other times it did. So it’s very hit and miss.
I’ve had delivery drivers come and go and it’s not picked up their cars or their movements. Yet other times it’ll pick up cars on the road which isn’t even in my selected zones.
I could go on and on about how it’s a let down but the conclusion is -*****Don’t buy this product. Invest in a hard wired system. ******
Pro - easy to installed * works well enough initially upon set up *battery life good in the first year *clear picture
Cons *after 12 months the performance is glitchy * doesn’t pick up traffic, e.g. people or cars in the selected zones that I set * Very hit and miss in capturing people in the selected zones * battery life of cameras deteriorates after the 1st year, and so you will have to charge them more often which is really annoying when you have to get the ladder out for 4 cameras every couple of months *definitely not a trustworthy or reliable security product
Good... could be better – Easy to set up. Picture and audio quality is great. However is hit and miss with what it picks up and records. Sometimes it will record a car driving past your house and other times it won't. There's a delay with motion and when it starts recording. I've noticed that sometimes it won't even record me walking out to my car in the driveway...… Read more
which is concerning. If I had the money I would've preferred in to invest in a hard wired system that just records 24/7 to a hard drive. But for the price it's still pretty good.
Great product, but cant see videos – for the first 12 months it was great. then the eufy app stopped showing the videos unless I re-booted the phone. Contacted Eufy, no response Checked the Eufy forum and found out many, many people are having this issue. Its a shame, the product is good apart from not being able to view the footage. Show details

Great setup and features – Easy to setup and very reliable. The 3 second delay is a little painful but it captures movement and alerts very well. Resolution is good given it is the mid range camera. The app is ok but functional. Can be slow at time but viewing is good. I think it would be better to have an all camera live on the one screen at times. Battery life has been excellent and easy to recharge. I've put ours on a ups as well. Show details
Excellent product for it's price – Easy installation (no cabling involved) and WiFi linking with a reasonable resolution 1080p camera's giving a good picture night or day. The video, alarm and setup is via App on my phone and as it's not cloud based it doesn't incur ongoing charges. The User interface is very friendly and versatile - even user configurable for individual cameras,… Read more
times and alarms. Also links to Google assistant (although I haven't tried that yet). In my opinion a very good system for the money
